if you extracted the archive then look in S4_1\_CommonRedist folder it has the subfolders already setup just place the proper files there.

Directx files, Origin setup file & vcredist 2013 file.

NO Archive has S4_1 & S4_2 folders so 2xdvd5

mystikal242 14-09-2014 09:10

The conversion, the installation and uninstallation work smoothly... But the game doesn't start in the right language, because I want PT-BR and started in EN...
I tried to use setup.ini putting the GDF's and it doesn't work too...

But I just paste the archives inside of the folders and works just Directx... maybe the problem is the right files' names...

pakrat2k2 14-09-2014 09:30

vcredists are easy just use

vcredist_x86.exe
vcredist_x64.exe

Origin Setup should be OriginSetup.exe

mystikal242 14-09-2014 09:39

Do the GDF's interfere in the game's language??? If they do, how can I use them for put my game in any language that I want???

sied 14-09-2014 10:40

Do we needed origin???Inside ur converter is that origin's include too???please can you tell me how it works,do we really need it???

pakrat2k2 14-09-2014 10:42

yes you need Origin to be able to play Sims 4

Tomorrow I try to solve all the problem
at the moment I redownload sims

and to change the language
key (Windows + R) and type "regedit" without the quotes, click the application it is going to open a window then click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Wow6432Node / Maxis / The Sims 4 and find the file called "local" clique law changes. Remove ru_RU and changes in the en_US or other language then exit

Elerian 15-09-2014 08:59

Thanks.
Can you add language choice and proper registry to installer? So, users can choose language and game will be installed in that language?

Code is easy:

Code:

Root: HKLM; SubKey: SOFTWARE\Maxis\The Sims 4; ValueType: string; ValueName: Locale; ValueData: en_US; Flags: uninsdeletevalue uninsdeletekeyifempty

.... only change in
Code:

ValueData
but how to add choice for installer i do not know.

damar15 15-09-2014 13:05

good job work 100/100 under win7 64bit

Razor12911 15-09-2014 15:17

So many attachment views and very little thanks. This is a brilliant conversion. I guess it is people who repack games, they will use this and put their names on it, typical.

aluv_fv 15-09-2014 17:09

help me, Error "The directory your typed is incorrect! Please type again."
I enter directory is true. I enter the correct directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\The Sims 4"
I use W7 64bit

Language choice for installer is chosen by selecting the correct flag, as far as installing in the correct language, you have to have it installed in that language for it to work.

But when you select the language in the installation, this doesn't make diference... In my game I have all the languages, but only changing in origin or in regedit works... I think something in the setup needs to be modified...

OK now I understand, ( don't have game so wasn't 100% sure ) houcine80
will have to add the registry entries for all language supported, & when you select that language then the appropriate reg entries should be then added for that language.

Maybe because UAC/Admin rights or something like that. Just move game folder to any other location (e.g. to C:\The Sims 4) and try again.

you can test the compression with this application (CC v7.0.5) by razor12911

mystikal242 17-09-2014 18:50

If you put one "/" in the end, the conversion doesn't start... Try to put the directory without, like "C:\Program files (x86)\The Sims 4"... You can try edit the .bat putting the directory after the "choice=", save and execute. It will ask for the directory, and you just press enter to starts the magic.

Ryuujin 17-09-2014 19:03

I've try the edit option, still the same error =/

I test the compression all works well

DaMix 17-09-2014 22:05

The problem is that missing file The.Sims.4.Launcher.exe

KaktoR 18-09-2014 01:07

open compress.bat with notepad, go to line 35 and change "The.Sims.4.Launcher.exe" to an official game exe, then save and compress.

@houcine: not everyone has pirated games. keep that in mind.
