Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut
(1x DVD5) *FULL*

1) Install the game

2) Extract 'DPDC_1xDVD5.7z' contents (not in game folder)

3) Launch Compress.bat & wait...

4) Burn or make iso with label name of your choice

Requirements for conversion: x64 OS, at least 1.7 gb of free ram is required.

See Post #14 IF you have x86 OS for conversion ( replace files in conversion ) ;) > pakrat2k2

You need x64 OS to make only the conversion, instead the installer works on both x86,x64 versions. ;)

Precomp not display the progress percentage, however it still works in background, take a look at remaining time on window top bar. ;)

i notice that but the remaining time on windows top bar not counting down but counting up and then down again, for example "2.46.00" then after a while "3.00.00" then back again "2.30.00". very weird, i could record the process if you want

It's normal :D

Have a little patience, the Data2.bin creation takes 80-90% of the conversion time. :D

The reason may be one of the following:
  • Not enough space on temporary drive.
  • Ram shortage, not enough ram free.

@kozakis

Now you can make the conversion on x86 OS. :)
Replace an existing file of conversion folder with the files in attachment.

Don't include in game's archives (Data1.bin... and so on) the following files:
Code:

unins000.dat
unins000.exe

1) Delete the above files from game's installation folder.

2) Delete Data5.bin from DPDC_1xDVD5\DPDC folder.

3) Re-launch the Compress.bat.

luthfy02 23-11-2013 22:11

whether unins000.dat and unins000.exe should I remove it before doing the conversion? I suppose if it does not remove it will be fine ?
thank you

no move from folder before doing conversion, then replace afterwards to uninstall original version.

mean unins000.dat and unins000.exe file does not need to be moved ?
because I do the conversion without moving files unins000.exe and unins000.dat

pakrat2k2 27-11-2013 05:08

no I said MOVE them, then REPLACE after doing conversion
