It's 40GB without DLCs, thanks for the language support list though, steam stuff doesnt have regkeys but might come in handy.

Check system reqs BTW

btw... did i see it right it's gonna be unlocked in 22 minutes :O

Fabioddq 28-08-2013 15:21

Is not possible fit on 3xDVD5. Use srep makes a smaller difference.

Is possible if you resample biks.

not unlocked that's how long he has left for the pre-load to finish downloading.

On its release day next week, a single, worldwide unlock time of zero hours US Pacific Time on the September 3 has been announced. That’s the regional equivalent of 00:00 PDT/ 03:00 EDT / 08:00 BST / 09:00 CET / 17:00 AEST.
Digital customers can begin pre-loading via Steam tonight starting right now to load most of the files, with only the day one content patch including Pontus, an additional playable faction, needing to be downloaded once the game is live. ( that's the 10GB preload).
Rome 2 will be region-locked in some territories, so if you are buying a copy from overseas please check with your retailer if you will be able to activate it your home country.

I Found ISDone.dll error. How I fix it? I Use Windows 7 32bit.

Kenkoyka9 28-08-2013 21:54

Hello, what's the compression time on this one? Is it quick? or like the Lost Planet 3 compression with LZMA because that took awhile to finish even with i7-4770k.

sentinelks 28-08-2013 23:18

4xdvd5 no no ... resample the bik ... I hate to have + 2 dvd

I use a smaller compression on Data1.cab and Data2.cab, others data.cab's not have any compression.

Use strong compression on this game makes no difference.

I dont like shit quality on videos. Only guy who can do resample with optimal quality is BAMsE. So if he wants to do or if he has time to do, i will create a new conversion for this.

The-revenge 29-08-2013 07:08

First, thanks for the conversion.
I wanna spent two word about number DVD question. The last games, and games will come soon, have size about 20-25 gb. It's normal that this game, with compression, fit in 4 DVD. But 4 (ore more..) DVD is a lot of DVD and create a problem with rigid case. I think the guys that make conversion should look at conversion with DVD9 : DVD9 are a little bit more expensive than DVD5, but anyway cheap. Using DVD9, game that have size 20-25 gb will fit in 2 DVD9, with more compression or 1 language. I think it's simply to do that, only change the size of cab in FreeArc option.
It's strange that I 've never seen a conversion using DVD9.

In the case of this conversion the total size is 14,2 gb, that fit in 2*DVD9 but it's needed to reacreate the camb, because DVD 1 size + DVD 2 size don't fit in a single DVD9.

Sorry for my english.

Fabioddq 29-08-2013 07:19

Yeah, is a good idea. But in some countries, the DVD9 it is still very expensive (like here in Brazil).

Anyway, sometimes its possible burn on DVD9, just put more Data.cabs on DVD.
In this conversion will not fit i think, (Data1.cab + Data2.cab), but Data3.cab + Data4.cab will fit on DVD9. So looks like this: 2xDVD5 + 1xDVD9.
But always makes isos and test if not have any issue.

You can also rearrange the files on Data*.lst's to fit on 2xDVD9. ;)

same here DVD5 is 5 times cheaper than DVD9

thanks...can I rearrange the files as I want, or there are restriction?
Can I delete some languages and add precomp+srep, the conversion work anyway?

Yes, you can but add strong compression will makes a smaller difference for this game. Is waste of time.

If you rearrange the files, maybe you will have issue when you install the game, depends of the Data.cabs. Because the parameters on Setup.ini:

[ExtractSettings]
FreeArcFile1=Data1.cab;DestDir:{app};Disk:1;
FreeArcFile2=Data2.cab;DestDir:{app};Disk:2;
FreeArcFile3=Data3.cab;DestDir:{app};Disk:3;
FreeArcFile4=Data4.cab;DestDir:{app};Disk:4;

Im not sure anyway, if you has any issue, tell me and i make a new Setup.exe for you according to your Data.cabs for DVD9s.

Fabioddq 30-08-2013 10:02

Update 1 (1.0.2.9) was released. No different in the size so still working.

No changelog yet.
