Resident Evil Revelations - 2xDVD5 *Full*

Based on CIU 1.0.1.4 (HotFix) by yener90; Compress.bat based on Peterf1999's method;
Music: "O vendetta di Dio"; Video: "Fear On Board trailer"; Reg entries: Not needed;

Note: Remove your original uninstall files before you make the conversion;
Leave _CommonRedist folder in the game directory;

1. Install the game and updates (latest update 4). Download attachment and extract (not in game folder);

2. Move Artworks and soundtracks (if you have) to RER_2;

3. Run Compress.bat, type your game directory and wait for Finished!

4. Make ISO and test before you burn. You can make ISO automatically with ImgBurn if you have installed.

Final Sizes: (with Signature Weapons Pack)
DVD1: 4.36GB
DVD2: 2.54GB (with extras)

Installation time: ~ 5 min

My Data1.cab has: 4,28 GB (4.604.230.055 bytes) and fit on DVD5. With other files: 4,36 GB (4.682.187.411 bytes)

Your size of Data1.cab is wrong.
Step 2: Move Artworks and soundtracks (if you have) to RER_2 before the compression.

if i moved the _CommonRedist in DVD2 the directx is not responding. if i know your script directX executable is run in game directory?

Yep, correct. Just leave in the game directory. I didn't specify that it was to move.

you need to make sure to follow ALL steps as outlined in OP post, second conversion You've misread steps :)

I'd tried twice to compress but i can't get the exact size.."DVD1: 4.36GB"

Hi Fabioddq compress.bat plays
in the screen that appears, select the enter key when I say

upload attachment again at very beginning of bat file where you enter game dir before you hit enter, (to check game path is valid)

You must indicate the correct game directory or the conversion will fail.

What your game path for this game? Example:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Resident Evil Revelations

or

C:\Program Files (x86)\Capcom\Resident Evil Revelations

Well... sometimes you have to use primitive methods to explain something :D

ramazan19833 Uninstall the game.
Install it once again in c:\abc
Run compress.bat
Type c:\abc
Press enter

i want to ask you step 2 Move Artworks and soundtracks to RER_2 .....when i install the game do i need to copy Artworks and soundtracks to folder game or will copy automatic ?

Great work on this installer... just one thingnoticed... made the conversion and works fine... but there are no images or video during setup process... any ideas?

Nope, no codec packs installed at all and never had to had them installed to get the installers working without problems... funny thing is if you hit pause button to stop the music and hit it again you get it all working without problems... weird isn't it?

Yep, stange. Here i never had. I always use mp4 videos, so you need install k-Lite Mega Codec Pack. Is the best codec pack.

Yes. This game don't need any reg entires, so you can install even update 10 on update 2. It's possible, but not recommended of course :)

Details:

Size of "RER_1" ISO is 4,35 Gb.
Size of "RER_2" ISO is 2,54 Gb.
Time of installation 5,11 minutes.


I have a question, if i want DVD9 ISO can i put "Data2.cab" in "RER_1" ? Will it work the same? :-)

Unfortunately not. I would have to recompile the exe's with new parameters.

Current parameters:

would have to be:
