Resident Evil 6 (One or two Audio Languages) - 2xDVD5 *CIU+srep+FreeArc lzma*

Based on CIU 1.0.1.2 by yener90; The installer has a video (3 min 21 seconds);

Note: Don't move support folder. Leave in game directory.

1. Install the game. Download attachment and extract;

2. Move extra contents (Digital Soundtracks & Artbook) to RE6_2 folder;

3. Go to your game directory and move/delete four audio languages that you don't need:

3. Run compress.bat, type your game directory and wait for Finished!

4. Make ISO's and test before you burn.

Final sizes: (Installation time: ~ 15 min)

DVD1: 4,34 GB
DVD2: 3,21 GB with extra contents

Note: Make the conversion without updates. And put the updates on DVD2. I will add support to the updates when i have time. Thanks.

one question , the second DVD has only 3.21 GB So we have place for another language what i mean that can we use 2 audio laguages :) ??
i haven't yet the game but what i'm sure that i'll use yur thread thnxxxx ;)

its closed source that is why no setup.cab.u wont be able to edit anything.its cause no1 can steal someones work and post as there own on pirate sites and torrents.

I'm sure Fabio will add MOAR languages, just wait a bit, looks nice and clean job bro !

just a missed language in setup.ini, but because of closed source, you'll have to be patient for him to upload corrected version, with all languages enabled.

Fabio' u did a really good job on this one thanks, can hardly wait for Bioshock Infinite, when its out.

Yeah, it's possible add more languages. But i not test. ;)

Download, extract and replace the old Setup.exe and Autorun.exe

I left two audios, English and Spanish, and got DVD1: 4.34 GB and DVD2: 3.99 GB, but have not tested the conversion, will test later.

Followed your steps and done the conversion it took almost 2 hrs. But did the job.

Mine is windows 8 64 bit 8 GB DDR 3.

It takes some time to compress the files. ;)

took me me around just under 2 hours
amd quad 8 gb corsair dominators 1600mhz and 120gb ssd vortex 4.but i was doing conversion on the same hdd.it should be faster if i had a second ssd.

AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 6x3.00 Ghz
4 GB RAM
64 bit Windows 8 Pro.

found the problem:
didnt follow conversion correctly.
i compressed with all languages.
therefore it took lot of longer

nice yener :-) ssd is godsend the read and write speeds of my ssd is around 500mb.but is halved if u read and write at the same time to the same hdd.i think will test ssd to ssd conversion tomorrow see if i can get a spare ssd from work to see what inprovements it will have.this is the one i am using at the moment http://ocz.com/consumer/vertex-4-sata-3-ssd.

currently ssd drives are too small & expensive.

i think three points are important
- cpu
- ram
- ssd

if one component is slow, then it will influence the speed of the other hardware.

Increase the virtual memory of your ram may be its help u

well that u can see inside this picture that i will face this problem 2nd time when first i try to convert tomb raider and there is same problem but there is mesut28 who create new conversion and that work perfect for me i don't know what is missing or my mistake some one can explain me please

top picture( resident evil 6 ) why are you compiling the batch file? just run it, it creates the cabs for you.

second picture ( tombraider ) you need unicode version of inno, NOT ansi version

excellent conversion, but there is a possibiliity to remove the compression? i dont mind about that, 1 dvd9 + 1 dvd5 is good for me thx in advance

You can but need reorganize all files in Data*.lst or will not fit.

Data1.cab has 9.714.441.927 bytes ( ~ 10GB). With compression reduce to 4.25GB.

I removed all languages ​​except Italian and startup I get this error:

The "3" at the end is probably the error code; in DOS/Windows, it stands for "path not found".

Hi fabioddq I try to use your conversion but didn't work for me, I execute the bat, put my game folder when is asked then nothing it freeze on creating data.cabs... but nothing happens. I just re-installed all my system so I dont know WTF it's going on.

My system specs.

Phenom II X4 black edition 965 3.40ghz
12GB DDR 3
2 HDD (500GB) (350GB)
GEFORCE 9500 1GB

Just leave it for a while... The game has around 12k files (11097, after you are done removing all unneeded language files). Biggest file is around 80mb while smallest are 16 bytes. It takes a while for Arc to cache them all before it starts compressing them.

Conversion tested with update 1. Works fine.

i think you need the English language..
without English Language Game wont start..

i just remove all the other language sub files and compressed using precomp too got 2.49gb + 3.22gb = 5.71gb

My conversion is to RE6, not for Tomb Rader, so ask the appropriate thread. ;)

Anyway, you error is probably because you indicate the wrong path or you don't have such files listed on Data1.lst. What conversion of TR you download?

so now that u can see my resident evil 6 directory which i write it perfect in cmd promp and that folder wher my game was save that also i show in image
and the exactly err when i type the directory in batch file

For me, the conversion works perfectly. I'm play now from the conversion.

Other thing: Remove your original uninstall files before you make the conversion (Unins000.dat; Unins000).

@Fabioddq Thanks, but did you forgot to add a Splash on this setup or it's just me that have this problem.

I didn't forget to add. I left without splash to increase the performance of the installer on low systems. :p
You may notice that the installer (welcome page) opens much faster without using splash. :cool:

Anyway, i will add if the installer require any update.

Hi bro, I made the conversion but when install It gives me an error that the checksum doesn't match any idea. It happens me with several conversions. My system is recently installed by the way.
