Game released in AU&NZ.

V1.20 - Redist bug fixed. People who downloaded V1.10 of conversion should download V1.20 version and use it's setup.ini file.
V1.21 - Fonts are modified.
V1.21Script - Some regkeys deleted to prevent problems with game updater, thanks yener

V1.23 After 292th download - Regkey updated, compatible with V1.04 and latest DLC, thanks to mikey

V1.24 - Regkeys updated, conversion is know compatible with V1.05 and latest DLC. Thanks to pakrat for regkeys

Instructions:

1. Install the game.

2. Move Support folder's content to DVD3/Support. (It's in your retail DVD, Move UplayLauncher to Support and delete it's folder.)

3. Download Base Pack,
Download Installer Script, V1.04 for V1.04 of the game, V1.05 for V1.05 version of the game.

Put installerscript.iss in Conversion folder. Open it and edit following line according to your game's installed location:

Save it and compile.
Conversion may take 30-40 minutes depends your hardware.

4. Move:

-Autorun.exe, Setup.cab, Setup.exe, Setup.ico, Setup.ini to DVD1
-All Setup-1*.bin files to DVD1
-All Setup-2*.bin files to DVD2
-All Setup-3*.bin files to DVD3


5. Test the conversion before burning.

DVD SIZES:

-DVD1: 4.33GB
-DVD2: 4.27GB
-DVD3: 3.92GB

OPTIONAL: Alternative Background for Setup, and alternative progressimg (for installation screen):

To change them, go to Setup.cab/Setup and change names of *_altern images to actual ones. (I recommend to rename current ones to something else, before renaming alternative images to main ones.)

Technically yes, add it's regkey to conversion manually, or make conversion than update the game.

Hi rev0 its possible make the game fit into to 2 dvd5 by taking out some languages and keeping the multi player, I already look the other conversion made by you and I rather take out some languages and not the multiplayer. By the way your conversion are awsome.

Depends which appdata 2 types of data exists. {localappdata} is the path to the local Application Data folder, and {commonappdata} is the path to the Application Data folder available for everyone.

So in that case:

The tola size of languages is 1.5GB approx. Total size of multiplayer folder is 4GB approx. Considering available size in second dvd, i assume it's not possible to fit the game 1 lang + multi in 2xDVD5.

read thread posts 3 & 4 same issue, ( appdata\roaming ) NEVER got it to work, would always extract into gamefolder

Redist looks fine from here, they're set to silent so you cant see them when they're installing except last three.

with my install fresh install and the update applied i tried reapplying the update it said this version is already updated. which tells me it works perfect with originals disks.

after i did conversion and add the 1.01 regkey u said to add in reg part of the script and installed the game from conversion i tried to reapply the 1.01 update it said cannot find version which means there is a problem with it picking the updates update and future updates. hope this helps.

hi revo here is a complete list of the reg files

It's not my background. TextBG was created with background, therefore it's normal that you dont see it.

I also installed the game and it seems we have 2 different sets of regkeys, that was unexpected.

I will update iss file tonight, stay tuned.

After the patch v.1.01 is installed, you need to update only 2 reg keys (red values):)

hi mate yeah i did had to make a few mods to ur reg i hope u dont mind i will upload the reg now.even after conversion and install with update if i try the update agian it says update already applied to its working now.

Yeah, it was Batman Arhkam City conversion, i told that redist is not working properly in last DVD.

I'm compiling the conversion now, will update the thread in 30 minutes appro.

UPDATE: It seems i have to do it tomorrow (6 hours later that's how many hours i sleep) Sorry for inconvience, until then, sarmadi, you can change slice's sizes to: 1480000000 and put everything in dvd1/support

Correct switches are:

change switches for PunkBuster.

I tested conversion with Support folder in DVD1, and unfortunately, with Support it will not fit in 3 DVD5, and you have to burn 4th dvd for 150mb which is stupid.

So, you have to install Support contents manually, there's no other solution, sorry.

REV0 your conversion is still AC3_3DVD5_BASE_PACK_V101.rar not v1.10 are you alr update it or just forget to rename it ? and once more. Can i use future update on this conversion or still trial and error for registry update ? thanks before

If you made conversion from V1.01 version iss file, i recommend to download V1.20 of basepack and use it's setup.ini. You dont have to re-compile, just overwrite it on current one, so redist can be installed correctly.

Apart from this, there's no difference on conversion. I fixed redist, and i already added V1.01 of regkeys (the ones which came with v1.01 update)

As futureproofness of conversion. If you burn the game as V1.01, you will have to update the game if Ubisoft updates it.

Normally, i'm planning to update iss file, each time Ubisoft update the game. That's why it's separate.

ok. mais uma pergunta, tem como fazer a conversao sem a necessidade de instalar o jogo? como aconte com outros jogos movendo os arquivos cab e editando alguns outros arquivos de instalação? pois gostaria de fazer dessa maneira e nao ter que instalar o jogo primeiro.

okay. one more question, is how to make the conversion without the need to install the game? As with other games hap moving the cab files and editing some other setup files? I would make it this way and not have to install the game first.
