InstallerScript CI 8.5.7.4 by yener90 compression lzma


1. Install the game


2. Download the attachment, extract completely (wherever you want)


3. Open InstallerScript.iss


Edit the following lines, according to the installation directory of the game.


4. Save and compile


5. Will create four folders, Disk 1 Disk 2 Disk 3 and Disk 4 folder inside the "compiled":


Move to the Disk 1:



Move to the Disk 2:



Move to the Disk 3:



Move to the Disk 4:



Burn the contents of the folder to a DVD with the label you want.


Total Size:

Disk1 4.35 GB
Disk2 4.34 GB
Disk3 4.34 GB
Disk4 1.19 GB

Anyway, Only thing:

Change in Publisher= Electronic Arts to Danger Close Games OR:

For all reg entries, change {code:GetAppPublisher} to Danger Close Games, show like this:

Root: HKLM; SubKey: "SOFTWARE\Danger Close Games\{code:GetAppName}"; ValueName: UninstallString; ValueData: {uninstallexe}; ValueType: string; Flags: UninsDeleteKey;

Do it for all reg entries. Otherwise these reg entries will be useless. ;) Believe, i tested!

4xDVD5 only works for one language.

Why you not use CI 8.5.7.4? (Latest version)

I think the font of the game's title in the installer should be like the original one ..and I am sure it'll look better.

Mesut could u plz tell me to make the conversion in freearc cause i love it, & one thing i say that i use only this conversion of yours because their is no personal tags, password etc this will maintain the setup looks like a company once

In which DVD should I add the folder redist (direct x and vcredist_x86) ????

I believe ( if you look at other conversions & their corresponding setup.ini files ) goes in the last dvd. ( One REV0 did said to copy redist to dvd2 )

I copied it to DVD 4 but nothing happened when the installation was finished.

In setup.ini ( bottom ) folders MUST match names or correct names in setup.ini

So it doesnt matter what version you've installed from as the conversion uses installed game files ( not dvd9 files )

work fine on win7 x64 sp1

I have made a coversion but I don't know why when I launch the installation the Autorun menu doesn't appear it goes directly to setup menu(Installation)???

go to sutup.ini and see the size of the autorun and re size it :cool:

I already did but no way.

What's wrong here?:

you also need to compile the other iss file to get the autorun.exe, and include that in your iso too. The the autorun should appear.

What the heck ..."couldnt find setup files' ... i get this message when i try to launch the instal from the fist dvd ... any ideas ?

the autorun.*, setup.* files need to be there too.
