Can you update your conversion to fit the new expansion dawnguard and the new patch?
just update ur version of the game and this conversion should world the same if not mistaken
It'll work, possibly, not sure about the size tho, better to wait senseman's reply
dawnguard is around 2 gb extra since senseman used 0 compression in freearc i guessing with a bit more compression should fit onto 2 xdvd5.will test out.

I have another question I can't understand at all when I finish the compiling and when I try to install can I change the partition where I install the game?or it's predefined in the script?I mean ISS script.
You will apply number 6 according to your game's installed location. When compiling is done setup will start close it and continue to apply conversion.
And you can change the install location WHEN you want to install the game. |
you have forgotten to point out in the tutorial.shouldn't the original install files deleted before the conversion?also there is any quality loss in the cut scenes in the game?
it works if I dont wanna install the updates and dlc?

I presume it's also Hearthfire compatible?

Heathfire DLC ~140MB. Just do what revo say. I think it fits on 2xDVD5 (i cant test this because i dont use the texture pack).
OK, I'll try.
Cool, quick question though:
Does this install the game and DLC at the same time - Or can you choose which to install? For instance I would like to install Dawnguard separate due to mods. |
its based on what you have already installed, so it does everything. You cant choose what to install. Just install what you want including your mods then run the conversion it'll compress everything into a new installer.
Using the conversion lmza/normal and lzma/max doesn't work.....normal make 3 dvd5 and max 1dvd5 and 1dvd9.....monday i try lzma2/ultra64....3h!!!!! :O
nah, doesn't work correctly for mods - The 'Data Files' option in the Launcher is greyed out - so I cannot enable any of my mods. (unless maybe I get a mod manager).
Getting a mod manager is a bit of an irritation though as I want a 1-click easy installer for when a mod messes up my installation, which is just a matter of time. Everything else works fine though. If anyone knows why the 'data files' option in the launcher isn't work help would be appreciated. |

i used the 3dvd conv, then i tried to add video during instalation, but the video goes play looping, play again n never showed up pictures in the end, i had trouble ,it's doesn't show finish button the video keep playing while the progress bar doesn't run anymore. i tried to end program instalation(task manager->end process), after that in the desktop has 2 icon skyrim ( game n launcher) although the finish button don't showed up. the game works fine in win7 x64. can this video feature be fix? |

Hello friend, thanks a lot for your conversions!
I'm facing a problem with the conversion, I'm using the 3xdvd5 method and Disk 1 and 2 go fine but the third weighs 4.39 GB, now, I've installed this: Game Update .18 DLCs (3) Hi-Res Textures package (2013) Spanish Voices for DLC (for the 3) How can I reduce that the weigh to make a perfect conversion? Thanks for your help and sorry for annoying. |
Ahhh and I forgot to tell you that for example, for the installer in Spanish the stressed letters are not shown. The font doesn't support the stressed characters, its says M sica in stead of Música and Intalaci n in stead of Installación.

O.K. I thought that but if I want to change the font how can I do it? I guess that it comes with the precomp content and I cannot modify it. I haven't made my first conversion script yet.
