Battlefield Bad Company 2 mini-image
1 Attachment(s)
BFBC2_mini-image.mdf 711 bytes (711 bytes)
BFBC2_mini-image.mds 51.4 KB (52,720 bytes) Tested with Daemon tools Lite/Pro on Windows XP SP2/SP3 |
Works fine.
Rofl, Secu 7.41 with Mi works, 7.34 or 7.37 not. (Emulator found.) |
well, perhaps the emulation detection is turned off in the title?.. which would kinda make the rofl a bit less apt :)
|
It does even not care about enabled CloneCD, emulator check really seems to be off.
|
Doesn't work for me, 0 bytes it says and no filysystem whatsoever.
Using Alcohol and extracted with 7zip. EDIT: Saw that the poster of it is also a 1st time poster so it wont really be of any help to use this mini-image. Guess the fact that I'm not English speaking made me not aware of the sarcasm of the other reply's. |

mount>open all files on filter and then load BFBC2_mini-image.mds |
so is the actual game or sumthin? or just somthing else
|
no, its a mini image, posting the full game would be illegal
mini images are designed to bypass copy protection by you mounting them to virtual drives, the images themselves have little / no content (except the protection signature).. i just noticed you're a first time poster, so i advise you to read the faq, as it covers this question (and many others) |
Not working, can't read anything from the image. Using Deamon-Tools (v.4.35.6.0091 with SPDT v.1.62) on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.
Anyone got a solution, new image or something? |
A mini image does not necessarily contain any directory or file data.

Do you get any error message when trying to start the game ? |
I tried mounting the mini images, but Windows is saying that "The file or directory is corrupted".
I am on Windows 7 Pro, Alcohol 120 2.0, and WinRar x64 3.90. Help? |
the mini image ONLY contains the protection signature, attempting to run files / exe's on it is a BAD idea..
you do have the original game icu222much.. right? |
Thank you. I understand what I did wrong. Originally, I mounted the .mds and tried to run the .mds through Alcohol. What I needed to do was just mount the .mds, and run Bad Company 2 from my .exe stored on my computer. Haha... I sort of mis-understood how to use the .mds.
Yes, I do have the original game. I have the full game installed on my computer, and the only reason why I wanted to use a mini-image is so that I don't have to keep loading in the DvD in-order to play the game. |

Ppl can make problems where are none.. |
I cannot login in my legit account in EA because I can't connect to EA and I mounted the mini-image, any help please?(using windows 7 32bit)
|
And you can connect without the mini image? Most cracks don't work online, although images are better than no-CD/DVD patches in this respect.
|
With mini-image and legit key it should work. Maybe EA has Server maintenance atm.
|
nevermind, just had to reboot, silly me.
now the problem is, I go to the "server browser" and I can't find any servers. do I need the legal keycode and legal account or just the legal account? |
of course a legit key linked to your ea-account...
|
mini-image no longer seems to work with 602574. I'm using DT Lite 4.41 and I get an error "Please insert the original disc instead of a backup (1000)."
EDIT: Scrub that, it works if I create and use a SCSI device in DT Lite rather than a DT Virtual Drive. |
Latest update CR11 removes Securom.
