How to conversion Please..

1. Make 2 temp folders
2. Extract all files from DVD to first temp folder.
3. Extract files from downloaded iscab4GB file to first temp folder, say yes to overwrite.

4. Run repack_cabs.bat file.
5. Wait until its complete. Delete the following 6 files from temp folder:
6. Move data3.cab to temp folder 2
7. COPY all files/folder EXCEPT data1.* & data2.cab to temp2 folder
8. Edit autorun.inf in temp2 folder has only the line icon=autorun.exe,0

Make ISO images install, play.

Install Sequence DVD1 - DVD2.

Ok I tried again and it works.Thanks for the conversion. Mabye i did something wrong the first time.. :)

it should work for your language "italian"
but i dont know if its working for the russian.

Confirmed yener90's method works.

EngineVersion=15.0.0.591

By the way its strange yener90's conversion works... The file he attached uses ISCAB Ver 11.50.0.42618... It is very old version compared to the one which has been used in the game ( Ver 15.0.0.591 ). I never know that new versions are backward compatible with older ones :)

man i didnt know that its a new version.
ubisoft always uses the same installer.
therefore i took thos one.

and i dont have the game yet.
will get it tomorrow.

Well... still the conversion might work... I do not know for sure with Ver 11.50.0.42618... But it works fine with Ver 14.0.0.162 :)

Can you please try to rip all other languages and left only english to try to fit on DVD5?

Ive ran through it with a mate & the finished folder is 4.89Gig...The only way to get it to fit a single DVD5 would be to compress a select few BIk files saving the 600megs you need..Everything that can be stripped was stripped to get the 4.89Gig...

I would do the BIK files myself but we have just opened a new Cyber Cafe, PC & Games shop so dont have the time at the moment..

If someone extracts all the BIK then they can recompress the amount needed to save the 600Megs & it will fit to a single dvd5...List.ini is below

we could delete two files:
attractmode.bik 51 MB
teaser_logo.bak 146 MB

the first one is from the demo, not useful for us.
the second one is the intro video.

label is anything
my labels : H.A.W.X Disk1 and H.A.W.X Disk2

Conversion is perfect (Vista64).

Label is no need, conversion works with labeled as DVD1 and DVD2.

Working great! sorry for my wrongs, the software Magiciso didn't support big files, thats why it weren't working... i used Alcohol 120% to make the iso files (i love this software).

so here it isguys, with picture to help some people having trouble...

when the images created, check if the dvd 1 and dvd 2 has this files:

ALL the problems are because the layout.bin is set to 4GB, MOST ISO creating software will NOT allow you to make ISO with file => 4GB. It has to be less the 4GB for a normal ISO. IF you create a UDF/ISO then you can have a file thats >4GB. MagicISO is ok, but far better is UltraISO, with it you can create both types easily.

IF you want a normal ISO, then use my 3.9GB Layout.bin file & re-do the conversion. Then you can create a normal ISO with magiciso. But start over, delete everything in the temp folder AND start again. Making sure that you extract my 3.9GB layout.bin file last, just before starting the conversion. (to make sure its not overwritten)

make sure AFTER conversion process is over BEFORE you make iso's,

Delete the following 6 files from temp folder:
repack_cabs.bat, MediaBuild40.dll, make_list.bat, list.ini, ISTools.dll, ISCAB.exe

Not a big deal if left behind but there arent needed anymore so remove them.

Yener90 conversion works on win7 32bit. Thanks man. BTW I always use UltraISO software and I've never had a problem with any conversion.
