Reservoir Dogs RELOADED Crack

Hey guys!

Has anyone else noticed that the Reservoir Dogs crack from RELOADED doesn't crack the main executable. So shortcuts to the game gives an error? So to play the game you have to either change the shortcut paths or go into the game directory and click on the alternative .exe (RESDOGS.exe). Is this because of the way the game protection has been applied or because RELOADED has changed the way that they crack Securom. Not complaining or anything as they crack works great, just curious.

Thanks
-Shiny

uhm, i just renamed the cracked exe, job done... did you think about that? :)

Dieselbrad 24-08-2006 19:09

shinyrory,

Find the exe you need to start the game. Right click and highlight 'Send to' then Desktop.
Now you have the shortcut and you can call it anything you want on your desktop...

Of course a rename, as per TippeX, a rename will work just fine.

If you replace the orig exe with the cracked one it will work.

Muyfa666 25-08-2006 11:38

Did u even read the first post?

noscript 26-08-2006 02:03

yes and i tested when I was by a friend who has the game.

kre 26-08-2006 06:18

You're both right. I've tested it on two different PCs, one starts with originally crack (ResDogs.exe), the other only with changed shortcut or renamed (Reservoir Dogs.exe) crack.

I have the same problem. So I start it with the resdogs.exe. Becaus I do this I dont get the start up screen and I cant change the grafics and sound. What should I do?

noscript 29-08-2006 01:57

use your original disc for changing resolution and sound.

the game has a different problem for me in that it all runs fine until the intro movie then when it comes up on screen to press Enter to continue once i hit enter the game crashes and my ssytem reboots. This is using the reloaded no dvd crack

My system is a P4 2.8g, 2gb pc3200, X800XL im hoping theres a problem with the latest cat's causing my dumps.

noscript 29-08-2006 08:09

does it work with your original game?

Do you have a creative sound card?

sharpy 29-08-2006 09:41

the normal version works fine, just appears to be a problem using the modified resdogs.exe

Not the worst but its nice not to have the cds clogging up drives.

Not using soundblaster either im using a philips sonicedge soundcard.

Tried changing to different cat version with same result.

Havent heard of anyone else with this prob so im guessing its specific to my setup somewhere

well im happy that someone else has the same thing happening, as it possibly suggests that its not a system problem on my end.

I have played all the way to the mall level when all of a sudden iam getting crashes randomly screen blue pc manual restart it is the back up of the game and the orig does not do this, is there a fix anyone knows of? iam using the gamecopyworld genreal backup .exe.

I think it happens when iam shooting allot i think (happens on no other more graphic intensive games).

Muji-FightR 29-08-2006 11:15

That's not necessarily due to the crack, it could be a bug which has nothing to do with the Nocd.
Just play this scene with your original disc and see if it works this way.
You can just play through this level and use the crack later on.

This game does not work well with sound cards. Disable hardware rendering for sound in dxdiag.

sharpy 29-08-2006 13:24

that worked for me cheers. Disabled the acceleration in the sound tabs in dxdiag and now it works great :)

how do u do that exactly iam a completye noob i guess run/dxdiag and where should it be located.

thanks

sharpy 29-08-2006 13:51

well once you go into dxdiag along the top theres tabs, go into the ones named soud1 and sound2 and near the bottom theres a slider for hardware acceleration if you move the slider to the far left it will disable it.

I did that with both tabs then exit dxdiag, game works fine now.

bob_geldof 30-08-2006 02:13

tar fella works great now.

hule 16-09-2006 16:45

When I play Reservoir Dogs i get constant lagg!!! Game flow really slow, and it's not because my hardware configuration.

What is dxdiag? Where it's located?

Thnx!

Run DXDIAG from the "Run..." function of the Start Menu; then you won't need to know where it is... ;)
