Did you run it in Windows 2000 compatibility mode as stated in the NFO?

The CRACK dosen't work. I've tried it with the Win2k compatability then it screws the controls and you can't get out of the cars.

I just tried the GHC and it does the same thing.....it won't let you get out of the cars and inverts your mouse. Just mount amd play...that works fine.

the nfo inside the crack doesn't say that..will try that

i used the crack off game copy world and it works fine here is what i did.
1. extract the fixed exe to the game install directory and replace the original exe with the new one
2. right click on the new exe and set compatibility to run under windows 2000 and voila the game runs with out the dvd.

hav u tried entering and EXITin a car..that part is stuck..mouse axis is inverted

From what ive seen of their Nfo (not an ascii nfo) I dont think its a proper crack, more a demo probably hence why controls are screwy, probably developers made sure the demo exe couldnt be used.

EA has stated that there will be no demo. Also after the release of the full game.

The GHC crack is nothing more than the NOGRP crack with some tags and compressed afterwards.

In other words, GHC is a bunch of lamers who can not even properly hide that they have stolen this crack. :rolleyes:

When I try to run the game with one of the cracks I downloaded from the gamecopyworld, mouse invertion doesn't work and I can't leave the car.
When I use no crack and try to run the game by mounting image using Daemon or Alcohol 120, I keep getting error message "Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application". Is there some other way, how to run the game ? If it is, how ?

well they tried to pass off a trymedia cracked exe as a securom cracked exe, so i guess their reputation is already tainted

Hey guys i'm new here, but i have good news:) , i found a crack that finally works fine for this game, is The.Godfather.CRACK.ONLY-iND, i downloaded it from emule, but you can also find some torrent files on the net, even though i still don't undrstand how to use them:)

I dont know why, but when i start up using the cracked .exe the game just goes onto a black screen, and does nothing, no sound, and pretty much does nothing at all.
I tried all the refreash rate thing aswell, but that doesnt seem to help, any help would be greatfull.

I've bought The Godfather game and i am trying to back it up but i cannot find a decent crack to do so. The cracks that have been uploaded so far have control issues and after entering a car in the game you cannot exit it (!!!) . So please stop posting threads that you do have a working crack just because the game starts. Check if the problems above are fixed and if so, we all look forward to hearing about this. But PLEASE stop fighting over fake cracks and let's find a decent working one. Anyone who finds a working crack please upload it or post us the location. :cool:

It's very simple.. if you apply the crack and it's possible to run the game, that doesn't mean, that the crack works !! If you can get out of the car and mouse invertion works, then the crack REALLY works..
