at GCW. it said that you have to replace the original matrix3w325.exe onto the new one by RELOADED.

my question is: uh in my HDD where i have installed the MPON, i don't have a matrix3w325.exe, instead, i have a matrix3.exe and a matrix3w325.BIN

what do i do?

Just unpack it to the game folder and use that file to run the game instead of matrix3.exe

Doesn´t work for me.....
Tried like above mentioned but everytime I try to change the resolution or graphic details in the game menu it crashes to desktop without any error notification...

Even tried to change the graphic options in the ini-file but still the same.
Also tried with or without the official game update.


Any tipps ?!?!?

Does your PC meet games minimum requirements?

I renamed the "matrix3w325.exe" to "matrix3w325.bin" and overwrite the old one, works fine for me that way.

patch it and try it your self

i have tried it, just deleted the .BIN file and Matrix3.exe to avoid confusion, and change the start menu programs shortcut to the crack and NOT TO THE OLD matirx3.exe as well as for the desktop shortcut (to avoid further confusion)

everything works fine ok as of now.

I left everything in the install path, just added the matrix3w325.exe to it. I'm running with patch1.

Just change your shortcut to point to matrix3w325.exe instead (in other words, run matrix3w325.exe to run the game), works great. No more image-tricks needed to play without the disk....WOOT! :D

Yes the latest patch for the game works with the crack...:)

Thing is, the 1.2 patch ONLY overwrites the matrix3w325.bin file. If you use the RELOADED crack on it, you are only getting some of the benefits of the 1.1 patch (text stuff that the patch overwrote), not any of the fixes that overwrote the original matrix3w325.bin in the 1.2 patch.

The crack is essentially for the 1.0 version of the game, but will work on the 1.1 and 1.2 version because the matrix3w325.bin is being replaced by the crack file. Most of the fixes in the 2 patches won't be active using the crack.

Oh well that sux, doesn't sound like there's too much point in applying the patches then...

So no word on when a version 1.2 crack will be coming out...? The game, as you all know, is not without its bugs...

I would apply the 1.1 patch. It updates other things besides just the matrix3w325.bin while still working with the crack.

The 1.2 patch....well.....I couldn't get the the game to boot with the original disk using that patch (I hear many are having that problem) and since the crack doesn't utilise ANY fixes in 1.2 (because it overwrites ONLY the matrix3w325.bin file), running the 1.2 patch is pointless.

If a 1.2 crack is ever made, it WILL incorporate the 1.2 patch anyway (assuming it will be another matrix3w325.bin file). So just apply the 1.1 patch and wait for a crack for 1.2....meanwhile use the current crack with the 1.1 patch.

well if it is too difficult for you to run the game via the cracked file Matrix3W32S.exe, which you can download at GCW and is originally non-existent in the game directory.......simply rename it to matrix3.exe, replace the original matrix3.exe file and get a feeling that is like you have applied a real crack to the original exe file :D:D:D:D:D
