Copy Protection "The Movies"

Does anybody know, what protection the game has - I would only buy it if there is a chance for making a working Image or a no CD Crack. Thanks for any answer.

Safedisc 4.60

caki 10-11-2005 15:01

And it has been cracked I think.

DABhand 10-11-2005 15:24

NOPE!!!

So with both is a Image possible, I think - or I am wrong. But good to hear that it not seems to be StarF*** !
Thx, 007

Weird how EA jumps between protections, I dont think they have tried SF yet, but SD and Securom.

The game seems weird, I wonder how it will play.

Its like possibly a hugely over exagareted business tycoon game :P

Plays fine!

The 'original'.....:) :)

DEViANCE cracked this game.
I have send the crack to GameCopyWorld.
It will be available with the next GCW-Update (I think).

Yeah until I know EA always use safedisk on their games

kosmiq 11-11-2005 09:43

No idea what protection used, however there is a NoCD crack out now atleast.

@GLH
The information I have claims that the crack and the release is NOGRP... Haven't seen any Deviance anywhere yet...

Muji-FightR 11-11-2005 10:20

There is a Deviance NoCD on GCW so far ...
they both are of an equal size, maybe they just took the Ceviance crack and claimed to have it done :D of course nocd cracks can have the same size...
sorry, was a stupid joke, if it even was one

caki 11-11-2005 10:34

I think The Unknown Scardey Cats did it before deviance.... Same size maybe because they used the same method to crack it...

EMPiRE 11-11-2005 12:34

there is a 30 byte difference that is why both are online (just in case)

caki 11-11-2005 12:35

If its 30 bytes then its prolly just tags.

nogrp isnt a group, its whats used when no names are used in file paths or nfo.

caki 11-11-2005 13:02

Yeah, but I just cant say no group did it before dvc :P Might as well give a name to people who dont have one so we can call them by something. I like using nogrp for that purpose.

DABhand 11-11-2005 13:03

Lets call them The Unknown Scardey Cats :P

First off, sorry for bump but information could be useful.
Secondly, that weird GLH. I believe you are telling me the truth and all but I haven't seen anything about DEViANCE releasing the CD version of this game. Even if they did they lost the race to whomever NOGRP is.

DEViANCE just released the DVD version of the game too, from what I've heard the DVD crack can not be used with the CD version. I have no idea if it is true or not as I have not tested.
