Is there any Crack who is probably working for the game "Fahrenheit"?!?

The game has just been released today! If you had red the Forum Rules, you would know that you have to wait at least 2 weeks after a new game has come out before requesting a crack! So this thread will probably become closed.

But I am also interested in that game and I am thinking of buying it perhaps. But I won't buy it, if it has "StarForce 3" as copy protection.
Could you please tell me what protection it has?
You can scan the DVD with "A-Ray Scanner".
Just google for it!

Saw it today in the protection database at copybase with the entry TAGES.

Seeing that Fahrenheit has yet to be released by any warez-group (no entry of it on any NFO site), I'd guess that it hasn't been cracked yet.

This Programm says only "Files checked"!
Then I downloaded Clony XXL and this programm said there is a unknown protection and it has 5 skulls!

ClonyXXL is not a very good protection scanner because it's not up-2-date!
Try "A-Ray Scanner". This program will tell you exactly what copy protection and what version of the protection it has!

It doesnt matter which prog u use, every tells u that it has no protection.

Ive started to make a ccd with alc, but anytime it says i have to put the Original DVD in my Device :(

i read the image to my hdd with alcohol with no read errors - burnt to dvd installed - and requests for the original dvd to be entered -

1 DVD ( Single Layer) PROTECTED with TAGES V5.2.0.1 (Located in ProgramFiles/Atari/Fahrenheit in DrvSetup.exe and DrvSetup_x64.exe)

I thing we must wait for a Crack

Hmm, I wonder what the protection will be for Australia as I have yet to see a 'Tages' protected game in Australia. That doesnt mean there are not Tages games here but I have never seen one, and I have seen a lot of games. ;)

I've found that 2 files .sys (tages drivers) are installed by the Fahrenheit game like the StarForce3 protection. Mini Img trick doesn't work. I tried also to burn image from my original dvd enabling RMPS option but it doesn't work. Tages uses a different scan check instead of StarForce3.

We have to wait for a crack

The only game I have with tages protection is Beyoond Good & Evil and was cracked so I think this will be cracked too, Man I want this game on the screenshots looks very good and its a game with adventure elements, thing that getting brand new adventure games nowdays is getting more difficult

I don't think it's Securom & Tagés .

drive used: dvd 8x acer
mounted with daemon 3.47

its a 5 year old DVD rom, depends on it, because i got many games where i made backups with.

this drive seems to get most of the copyprotections.

i ll just ask some of our crackers if they could figure out how and why.

i wonder of the part: your allowed to make a backup for yourself (found still in any license agreement) .. but they didnt say : a workin backup ;)

i cant stand to get this game. As tages seemed to be dead, it rebirth so strongly. As always, if crack doesnt appears soon ( i have no idea of tages coding) just Spath actualized method will do the job.

TIP: sfmdf.exe v1.8 from a|b, the same tool to fix SF games, will do the job perfectly, cause it can replicate expected tages twin ranges without problems.

If you want wait for this game - buy it and support it that way.

Its a cool adventure with many new ideas and gameplay.

I can obtain it right now, but i have exams, so i cant allow myself to get it to test. Most games i own, are used to verify copy-prot, and not for playing. If game enjoys me a lot (BOTH SIDES), i will buy it (as i did with XIII for example), but first i will try it.

This game is interesting for me for copy-prot and not for game itself. I m of those which test, and if enjoy buy it, but i will not buy at release time cause prize. I will not pay more than 18€ per game ( excluding personal feelings).

Sorry DAB, but i am of those who ONLY buy a game that DESERVES to be bought (Hearts of iron 1/2 (without copy-prot), mafia, max payne 1/2, victoria, and obviously a lot of SF protected titles). And usually, i test them playing one or two tries. If i consider game is good enough, then i will bough it (if prot is interesting enough i will buy it inmediatly). I will not buy every game i could test, thats obvious, i m not rich nor have enough time to play more than one at once. Anyway i DONT download any game, cause i want to test it at my own, so i'm not so guilty.
Fortunately, i can obtain games at a very good prize if i decide to buy at "release" time.

this drive roxx. ive repaired it 3 times and still works.
i got round about 4 computers to play around here, and some rendering machines, and the only comp where i can sometimes make an 1:1 copy is that dual 800eb with an really old acer dvd rom.

NFSU where copied exactly, stronghold2 copied exactly, dungeon siege2 and some older games.

me i got the eu version of fahrenheit for some time here and i am aviable to help out in any kind.

ps i was just writing that infos , because i thought it could depend on that drive.. if its a mechanical reason why it works, would suck. if its depending on the firmware, it is software, so there must be a way to implement this way of reading cd's into a generic crx .. or i am wrong ?

i just like to support and got no reason to fake in any way..

Have you checked if backup works perfectly have you tried more levels than the first ? cause Tages always uses secret flags or triggers that put the game secretly in demo mode after some levels if it detects backup..

This is a new kind of emu method especially designed for TAGES.
It is not quite a clone as we arent dealing with a 1:1 standalone copy.
That is, the twinsector data have not been added back into the image.
Technically it works like alcohol or dtools, running
a daemon that "reads" the tdf file and emulates the twin sectors.
This is released now so that people can enjoy this fine game
and not 6 monthes after street date.

Are you sure you haven't forgot your original in your Acer ?

The forum are dede a german forum for bloodpatches but after the post with the information the forum goes down for a maintenance work ;)

I think the download link for tetris doesn`t work.

thats not the only problem you need the *.tdf file for fahrenheit to mount it in tetris.

/instructions

1. Burn or mount image, install game
2. Launch tetriscpl.exe located in /Crack dir
3. Install Driver and reboot
4. Launch tetriscpl.exe again and mount the .tdf file
5. Its now time to play
