Hoodlum Patch+San Andreas working OK?

A lot of people on N-force are moaning that San Andreas is crashing regularly with the Hoodlum fix. I think it's because they're using pirated versions of the game. Are any of you having problems with the Hoodlum fix and ORIGINAL DVD? The game isn't released until tomorrow in the UK.

p.s.Also, is Alcohol blacklisted by this Securom version?

yep, alcohol and d-tools are blacklisted. you should use Anti-Blaxx in order to fool the protection

I tried the no-dvd before going to bed last night and it worked fine for me.

From what I've heard the crack was supposed to be working bad on Win2k... Although I can not verify that but then I heard that the crack was working fine, only problem was with foreign languages but it seems as there is a crackfix for that...

Sorry to show my ignorance, but could somebody please explain what Anti-Blaxx does? Thankyou.

Sorta like an emulation thing, that blocks certain info from being read from a PC like what processes are running etc, hence to block certain protections from gaining that info.

Securom7 .....you can easily Burn a working Backup DVD ..

with Alcohol120%. Iamge reading on lowes Speed and DPM measure.
Burn the Image at low Speed an write the rmps on the DVD.

So you can start the game from the backup DVD...must have rmps Emuation on ...works perfect!

I don't have N-force... but I've played the first 5 or so missions with the original exe and switched to the hoodloom fix for the rest with no problems. :D

So true. I still use the crack though.

Also, you cannot read at minimum speed, it won't let you.

thanks guys needed that information, as i just got the game yesterday and will try the hoodlum no cd crack now.

i can't get over how big the map is they give you in the box :)

I think you can use daemon tools to mount the image without anti blaxx.Install daemon tools and rename the bus and port driver to anything else than default names. Then use SFN to disable cdroms, mount the image and then start the game.It works with boiling point and it should work with this game too.

The Speed at which Discs like DVD's/CD's are read out depends on your Drive and not on Alcohol.
So you CAN read at minimum speed if you have a good DVD-Drive.
