There was a patch for this game released today, does anyone know about a NO-CD for this new version of the game ?

I downloaded this patch too and i forgot that an image file doesnt work with FM. any help would be appreciated :)

So the game did not start after applying the update patch? Please people bring a patch/crack/fixed exe as soon as possible... Love this game.

(I am actually getting it for Christmas...lol... but until then...)

i am desprately hoping for a no cd crack installed the patch and to late remembered that the image does not work. so please come on with it

how long does it normally take for someone to get a crack and post it on this site? im addicted as hell ;)!

the only reason i need it is cos my game is disc is buggered and shop will not take it back orswap. i tried to put in the one from sigames,but it wont recognise it,so this is why i need this one.so yes i did buy the game.

Nah, you admit you didnt bother to read the forum rules. Thread locking is the usual remedy.

Now, Peritass will probably be banned for refusing to read the rules.

buy the game and use the original CD:S then it will work!

I'm surpised you didnt say anything about the other 2 people pirating the game.

i already said i am not priating the game. my cd is buggered,hence thats why i need the no cd patch.the shop refuses to take it back.so what elkese can i do ?
buy another game and egt ripped off again ?? no i doubt that very much.

Why not download the current 5.0 nocd crack, then install the 5.2 patch then move the .exe file from 5.0 nocd over and it's done, worked for me anyway.

I dont think the bugs will be fixed then... ?

then you dont have the full new options and enhancements of the new patch, so it isnt usefull to install the patch then

Nah dont think u'll get the full benefit of the patch. :rolleyes:

The patch doesn't lay within the exe file it's from other files within the game, i have noticed the improvements on it, like example they forgot to put in the fixtures list "past meetings" they fixed it in the patch.

You will mess up the game. Many changes have been made in the new exe, and it's a part of the patch.

Don't know Kev. I don't believe it will keep all fixes. ok, you're right, it's not the executable that fixes bugs in the game but when you install the patch it edits your fm2005.exe file and i think it is for a purpose different from driving us all mad :-)) anyway, your suggestion can be a last resort!

What do you mean, I've always had that past meetings button in my game...

Ahhh, you hooligans have restored some of my lost faith in the forums. Championship Manager 4 was the first game to ever get sticky status on this forum. Hmmm, as there have not been mulitple threads for the new patch, I'll let this one slide. ;)

Just one thing, dont post something along the lines of "is it out?". If that happens Eagle, Luciel or GLH will close the thread, and keep the crack for themselves. Only post in here if you have something worth while to say (something along the lines of links to cracks or reporting problems with the latest patch etc)

:( waiting is terrible! I believed i found it 10 minutes ago: it was a zip file, posted today on a czech republic's website and named "football manager 5.02"!!!! 5.7 mb in size. But it was only a crappy network shareware game. ok, maybe all that things written under the link where about the real nature of the file, but you know, it's not so easy understand their language!! They could at least give it another name!!!!!!
