Medal of Honor Pacific Assault Crack does not work
 

The MOH pacific assault crack does not work. when i try to load up the game the screen just goes black and then exits. when i try to copy the crack over the orignial it just puts the crack in the folder and doesnt copy over the original, is that why this is happening? it also happens with need for speed underground 2 but then i got the lastest nvidia drivers and it worked. but pacific assault still wont work. and i cant use daemon tools to mount the cd cause it says "dectected emulation software please put in cd" any help is apreciated thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong but dont you mount the 'Image' in Daemon Tools? Why would you want to mount the CD?
And what message do you get when you put in the CD?
When you use the CD, do you get emulation message?

I got the same problem i installed the game copy the crack over the orignial then i want to play the game it kick me out, got a black screen and a windows error. I think the crack is not good but i don't no for sure is there a anthore one?

Are you playing with the CD version of the game or the Directors Edition? I have the Directors Edition which is on DVD, and the crack works fine with it.

Best thing to do is rename the original file, or move it into a sub folder (called backup or whatever). Then drop the cracked file into the folder. Also, try rebooting your machine before copying it over. If you've tried to copy the file over after having tried to run the game it could be that the protection routines are still loaded in memory, and if so, it's refusing to allow you to overwrite a file still resident and running.

Well if you got the crack from GCW then its the same one I'm using and it works alright for me! And yes I also have the Directors Edition DVD

Works fine with cd version too.

Doesnt come out in uk till the 19 no? same as NFSU2 o.O either that or play.com lies :(

I uninstall the game and reboot between and install the game and reboot between but it dont work this is the error windows gave :

Maybe you can use the informatie i give i dont know but maybe someone got a solution. I will install the game at a anthore computer tomorrow and see what happens.

I would say your problems arise from the fact you downloaded it from a bittorrent site therefore you wont get any help here!! Read the Rules first before posting!! :p

I thought a post the error here because this site gives the cracks to
the public. And maybe the person who make the cracks come to this site to
see if there are any problems whit the crack so he can make it better.

Why I not post it at the officials sites such as

simple because they will say it's a problem of the crack not the game
and you don't have to use the crack to play the game.

Yes it's a file from bittorent but what's the problem with that?
The problem is that I can't use the crack whit the game and I think an
original game or a game from bittorent are the same. If this site
doesn't wanne be link whit bittorent I am sorry that I do so, but I
thought it won't be a problem. But I got the Directors Edition and the
crack won't work so who can help me? I also wanne know where can I
post the error file then?

Let me tell you the difference!
An original game is a purchased disc! One you hand money over for at a shop!
A game from a bittorent site is a Pirated illegal copy which you did not pay for!

I know that, I can start a discussion about why I download the game. It’s because I wanne try the game and yes I can download the demo, but I did not. But if I think the game is ok I can buy it. But the problem is if I buy the game the crack will not work.

I have a question for GLH/Grumpy why is it possible to download cracks and special programs from this site to run the game without a cd/dvd ?

I think the makers of the games are not happy that this site gives the cracks and the programs to the public and I posted one question whit the name ‘’bittorent’’ and banned if that’s the rules no problem but maybe you have to change the rules. Because are you sure that all the post that here are, are all about gamers how bought the cd/dvd if not than you have to ban them all I think

Gaming is fun, those who can't afford to constantly buy major releases should be able to copy and crack the games. Not all of us have a money tree out the back yard. I appreciate the amount of effort companies go to to make a game, surely their process is now easier with advanced technology. Its a hot debate but one that will never be solved by guys who want only to play with their buddys online..I remember when a meat pie was 25cents, now I cringe when I go to a football game and pay $3.70. Is inflation so bad that retailers can justify selling them for $80 a pop and above. If they had any business sense they would market them for $15 - $30 even when brand new to attract far more financially budgeted customers. Blame the retailers I say....As for me I love the guys who crack these games , not because I think I am special but because I love gaming.

FileForums is here to help people back up their OWN games! Not here to help people backup someone else's game! Downloading a game is downloading someone else's game! Is that so hard to understand? All most people are asking here is "how can I play the game I bought without using the Disc."
What you are asking is "how can I play this game which I didnt pay for but think I deserve to be playing anyway because i downloaded it!"

well yeah gaming is fun and most of us in my opinion don't have enough money but man....where you all live you can get a game with 25-30 dollarz...in greece you can get it minimun 45 euros!!lots of money man.downloading games is ilegal but who can stop it?in my opinion my whole country is like ****.you can get a freaking adsl for 60 euros just the connection!hell with that in america cable(which is 1000% faster)costs much less)the point is that there are many reasons why you download games etc.it's like mp3z.who has cd's of the mp3z in your pc's?(except me cause i am really crazy about cd's. i want the cd to have it's cover etc)plus you buy a game for ex i bought warcraft 3 and finished it in 1.5 days!!!!(yeah!!!24/24 gaming!!!)sorry but i regret buying the game for 45 euros.that's in my country and as i have seen in germany!but for 25 dollars?in america(and other countries) it's a lot cheaper.

Personally, I buy all my downloaded music if it's available, heck I rarely do downloading. I much rather go and just buy a CD and if I need to, I'll find samples first. Though, that's not so much an issue these days, since I seem to like everything. As for the games, I am lazy and it's just way too much work to download, really it's just as easy to go to the store and buy it. Lastly, I think demos are a bit like the 30 seconds samples online for music, too short to completely make up your mind, but they do help.

All in all, I wish the companies (both music and games) would do something that would resolve all of this. I really don't think there would be much more in way of pirating even if there were no CP whatsoever. All it would do in the short term is make it easier for the pirates to get it out, but it will anyway, so why should we suffer in the meantime. That said, in the long term it would make it easier on us, the legit customer for making backups and removing the need for NOCD/DVD patches. A win-win for the consumer, not so much for the greedy people that want to milk every little thing into millions and billions of dollars. They are still making something since they do have options in regards to the pirates that don't effect us the way they do now. Go after the right people...

Oh well, I'll keep on dreaming for such a day! :p
