Gta Rumour (SPOILERS)
 

:confused: hi, i no that gta:sa is out but i have heard a lot of rumours about there being a jetpack on the game somewhere??? is this true, if so please reply to me and also is there anyway to get the 4 star wanted level off if u fly or illegally swim into other areas of the game like san fierro or the other place because i can use the no wanted level cheat but as soon as i move again it comes back, PLEASE HELP ME! :confused:

Im not sure about this, Im not even that far, Im trying to get the missions done, but its quite hard fitting it in with college, running a business and other things. lol

I've had about 3 hours and have gotten to the OG Loc Mission where you ***** the s***** van (spoilers deleted) ;)

That's after exploring and doing burglaries. It's amazing how many people can't find the black boxville - it's more or less under your nose :)

about the same here did the s**** van last night got to big dawgs gaff n got slayed so cryed and went to bed at 2.20 am boo hooo :D

there's a horse betting place in downtown under highway, you better check it out, I'm hella rich by betting on horses ($ 10M.) :D
btw I'm in san fierro right now and trying to make new cj's girl friend happy. ;)

Play.com finally got the game to me today. Needless to say, been playing it for most of the day. Most impressed. Currently just got passed some mission called AK's and Nines or something. **** me, the map is huge. Due to the poor Legend system on the Map, its way too easy to get lost in this game. Slowdown is flipping awful too. Soundtrack is a bit of a letdown. But lets face it, I dont think any game will ever top the soundtrack to Vice City :)

How do you start 'burglarizing' homes? Is that some hidden feature I have yet to come across, or is it explained in some later mission?

Another thing, I could swear, while getting lost for the millionth time, I found an Airport (Los Santos International or something). For the life of me I couldnt find a way to the hanger area. So a little help on that would be appreciated.

Oh yeah, the thing that has made me smile the most so far is when I jacked that big freight train. That was awesome. Utterly pointless, you can only go backwards/forwards but the fact I could actually do that was so ****ing cool.

One more gripe, according to the masses of reviews I read, the police are supposed to react when the general public/other gangs start firing guns at each other. Bull**** do they. I seen a nice firefight take place, while the cops just walking or driving past. :rolleyes:

Get a black van, oppersite gym on first island. Gym on rite side of road, vanm on left by them blue houses.

I seen cops chasing each other etc.

I found the betting place, but every bet i've placed i've lost. bout 3grands worth

buy the property near the betting place and save there before going to betting place, I usually bet on yellow one. :)

Yeah, I have seen random police car chases and chases on foot. But I have yet to see a copper react to a firefight. Specifically, when a rival gang member is shooting at me, and the twat copper just stands there :rolleyes:

Just done my first house robbing mission, the official one. That mission so reminded me of Manhunt, with the way I got CJ looking (roughly 10% sex appeal!), and that ski mask, my CJ looks ****ing mean.

1 thing I am liking is that Rockstar appear to have gone back to their GTA3 roots. In Vice City, it was piss easy to make money. In San Andreas, much like GTA3, its hard to raise a buck. Almost everyone I pounce on for money, is as broke as me. Like real life really :(

yes there is a jetpack and yet get it when you steal it from area 69 that is like mission 70 into the game have fun

OK, I told a lie. Cops do react to firefights. I saw a bunch of cops get wasted by the gang in purple (I barely know anyones name in this game yet!). I hung about thinking that more cops would turn up. They didnt :(

Anyways, how the hell you kill that gay guy on the PCG that you have to chase on your own PCG with Jeffrey/OG Loc on that back. Dude just wont die. In the end he just ends up getting away. Other then the Low Rider Races, I got no missions left in order to continue the Main Story.

open the map and look for downtown Los santos, the betting place is right under highway and at the left of it there's a clothes shop.

just follow him, in the end he will join his friends then you can kill them all together. :)

Here's another little fun thing in the game; whereever there's a motorway / highway, cause a crash in a high speed area and watch the cars pile up. :) They just keep coming and smashing into each other, one after the other after the other. :D

Today my brother and I go into a blockbuster (video store).. We're looking around without finding anything and about to take off.

This mom and her 2 kids come in, a boy and a girl.. couldn't have been older than 7 or 8 (both of them) anyway.. Immediately they run to the PS2 game section and start looking.. Next they run up to someone working there and ask: "Do you have Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in!?"

The geek checks the computer and without saying anything about them being too young says yep.. So they run back.. Not finding it apparently they run back to the guy and ask him if its for sale.. Another yep..

They proceed to grab the game.. give it to their mom.. without even looking at the game she slaps down 50 bucks plus whatever movies she picked up for herself and they're out the door..

Made me kinda sad.

So far this game is incredibly fun. i was just wondering if any one knows how to get the jet fighter. i know it exist cause ive been shot down by it. if you want to fly early in the game without getting the license just get a car part it next to the building at the airport and jump onto the car from there you can jump up onto the building then you can steal one of two planes, ones a dodo and the other is the personal jet.

OK, been 'playing around' with that Denise chick. Is there any point to that hokey stuff with her? I mean if I max out my progress bar with her, will I get some kind of bonus? Or shall I just kill the hoodrat at the next opportunity?

Helicopters and Learjets
 

Ok guys. Wanna have some fun? Once you get to the second Island, look around the North-East area of the Island (towards the centre of the map) and you will eventually find a cliff that overlooks some hangars. There is a shear drop into water from the top of the cliff, however, there is a point where the edge of the cliff is close enough to the corner of the hangar area that if you have a car or a bike (even a bicycle will do if you give a good bunny-hop at the edge) you can jump from the edge of the cliff and land in the hangar area. In between the two end hangars is a helicopter. :)
Once you've got the helicopter you can fly anywhere you want (is easiest if you have an Action Replay Max though so you can disable cops because as soon as you enter an area that you haven't reached in the game yet you instantly gain a 4-star wanted level).
Fly to the far North-East Island (top right of your map) and in that city you will find an airport. Land near the runway and next to some hangars there you will find a couple of Learjets. Unlike the previous GTA games you can actually get into these Learjets and fly them! :D

Nope. The hangar area where the helicopter is is on an enclosure raise too high above the water to jump up on, and where there is road access it is all surrounded by high fences and gates.
The airport, too, is surrounded by high fences. The only other way to get into these areas is to go to flying school (I haven't found out where that is yet) and earn Pilot Skill points. When you have enough skill points you will be granted access to these areas through the front gate.
