Mafia v1.3 Crack?
 

Just followed the Mafia CD to DVD guide from this forum to make a backup of Mafia on 1 DVD.

Took the opportunity to put the latest patch on the DVD for convenience. However, if I'm going to use this DVD I will need a crack.

The latest patch is for v1.3, but the latest crack is only v1.2. The 1.2 crack won't work when the game is 1.3, it gives an error message and the game won't load at all.

So why is there no crack for v1.3? Is 1.3 a recent update, even though the game is 2 years old?

except the guide actually say "get the 1.3 crack from gamecopyworld", oh well, u can provably get it a megagames.

I have the Mafia v1.3 patch/Update installed and I'm using the 'Drunk' v1.2 NoCD!! No error messages and the games starts and plays fine! I have it installed at the moment and actually checked all this before I wrote the CD2DVD Tutorial. Dont know what the problem you having but I assure you the NoCD does work! Last time I checked at GCW there were 2 v1.2 cracks! Without mentioning his name I havent tried the other one only 'Drunks'. ;)

i already had a 1.2 crack saved, so i just used that. didnt think it would make any difference, but obviously it wasnt the drunk one.

Please can you say where you got the 1.3 patch as the official game site only shows 1.1 and 1.2 patches.

To be honest I cant remember! But I do have a sneaky suspician that it was named incorrectly on the official site! I think it was named the v1.2. I can tell you the update you are after is 17818kb. I dont know the original filename tho! :)

Grumpy is correct. I only just finished downloading and installing what I thought was going to be patch V1.2

It's good to hear the drunk nocd will work (haven't verified that yet), but a proper V1.3 nocd would also be good (who knows what has changed between V1.2 & V1.3?)

Where can I get Mafia Patch v1.3?I can find only Patch v1.2.

If you read this thread carefully, you'll see that there is no 1.3 update; http://www.patches-scrolls.de also hosts the 1.2 update only.

There is in fact a v1.3 update. I have it.

If you still cannot locate it I will upload it to cd-2-dvd.com in a few hours.
I will leave it there for awhile until I find out if Empire is interested in hosting the update on GCW. ;)

Then that 1.2 update on Patches Scrolls is the misnumbered 1.3 update. (Can't test it right now, don't have the game installed; but a process memory scan of Patch.exe does reveal a reference to a version string of "1.3"...) [...] The sysadmin of Patches Scrolls said he'll try to find someone at the developers and ask for an explanation.

I never could find that 1.3 patch either when I had the game installed. I'm starting to think maybe was and unofficial patch or a leaked release

I downloaded the patch quite awhile ago but I am 99.9% sure I got it from the official site.

Ok, I am correct when I say the Official Mafia Site does have the v1.3 update mislabelled.

The 'English patch - v1.2' on the Download page is infact the v1.3 update.
Use the link above, then go to Downloads, then Patches. ;)
