Sacred 1.66 and Starforce
 

Looking for a no-cd patch for Sacred v. 1.66 and not finding it I did some searching and found out that it seems the copy protection used (Starforce v. 3) is hard or impossible to crack.

I've seen cracks for Sacred v. 1.2 and v. 1.5, so I guess it's possible to crack it, but it seems to take time.

Does anybody know if there is a no-cd crack in the works for v. 1.66, and, more importantly, is "the scene" any closer to finding a quick way of cracking Starforce v. 3?

Besides you are right, sadly no crack available for the new patch(v.1.66).

You need the 1.66c crack (7.64mb) and the Patch 1.66c . It works with uk version and german version.....

TO USE:
1. Install Sacred
2. Backup file scripts/de/global.res
3. Apply Sacred166c.rar update (just unzip archive to Sacred folder)
4. Appy Sacred_1.66_Rus.rar crack (just unzip archive to Sacred folder)
5. Restore original global.res (if you don`t do that the menu doesn`t show any readable letters)
6. Start the game

(i have the german version)
DONT FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR "GAMESAVE"

Hey does anyone else have the problem, when you kill the Sacara deamon and you want to take back the Heart of Ancaria from the altar or whatever it is it clicks it but nothing happens and you can't click on it again?Like it's not there anymore.

1 good point of view, is to KEEP WAREZ GUYS ask for no-cd every god dam half second!

can someone help me please i tried the crack only on the game after i updated with the auto updater to the most updated version i backup that file and then used the crack

it dint work

maybe its because it updated to recent version other then that sacred 1.6c anyway if that is the cae please give me a link to the update or tell me wht im doing wrong should i be using damon tools for both disk while i try the crack?

thanks dude problem fixed it works now how come this crack isnt publiced on many crack for games?

don't know how many of you noticed, but the russian crack IS FOR THE GERMAN VERSION of the game. so naturally it didn't work for me (have the UK version)

can you adapt it for a french Version ? or universal ...

A friend of mine has the UK version and it worked just fine for him. It needs to be adapted to work with the German version. If you read the whole thread the link points to you get the whole story.

i made a Patch from the "Sacred_1.66_Rus.rar" and "Sacred166c.rar"

it should work for ALL languages, but i only tested it on GERMAN and ENGLISH Sacred version.

But Remember:
You must not have installed the Patch 1.66 in your Language.
Can be you can install a previous patch, but i don't have tested it.

Importantly

Only install this patch on "Sacred Version 1.0" (the CD Version)
Do not Install any Patches before this
I tested it, installed Sacred 1.66 official patch before
After Patching i installed this NoCD Patch -> does NOT work!
Tested on "Sacred Version 1.0" (the CD Version) -> IT WORKS

This Patch + NoCD Works on many Languages
But i only tested German, English and Russian
I think this Patch work on other Languages too
But i can't test it on ALL Released Languages
Try it in your Language, it should work

can it be you have your Sacred updated to Patch 1.66 in your Language?
If yes, this Patch/Crack (Sacred_1.66_Rus.rar + Sacred166c.rar) doesn't work, i tested it
Why it not work, i cant say, but it does not!

if the patch don't work on your Language, please say me, i will update my Changelog and try to make it working on it

i have the uk version.well the game from the start was 1.5 so i guess it works with 1.5 too

My Sacred was 1.5 UK patched, perhaps that's why it didn't work.
I'll try and download the 2 russian files and install them on v1.0.

I´ve updated my Sacred 1.0 (its okay on every version to 1.5). Its working super! Thx for your work and go so on.

This so called "crack" is not a working crack for 1.66. I know that now since I were the one that applied it at the mg forum. This is really 1.5 files with a newer ims file.

First, you know, you can change the version number on the menu screen just by replacing the sacred.ims with another from a different version....

I really don't know if this "crack" updates anything at all. I mean, just look at how to install it.
1.Reinstall Sacred.(makes it 1.0 or so)
2.Replace all files with those in the rar.(as are the same as in 1.5)
So, those files that aren't replaced in the game folder are still the same as in 1.0... And the rest are the same as in 1.5 (exept for the ims-file)

Just wanted everyone to know..

Hmm. I followed the links and got the 403 Error. I can't get to the files.

Can someone help please? I really hate the CD thing. I don't use a download Manager.

Seach the mg forum and you will find it. Not any difference since 1.5 but atleast it says 1.66 on the menu screen.. But performace will not be better..

OK I understand all but I downloaded from suprnova.org a version 1,66, and now i have a quesstion: How I can crack sacred ? I must have a game in 1.0 version, or egzist crack for 1,66 ?

Install Sacred (1.0)
Copy files (1.66c) in your SACRED GameDir (you dont need to click update)
Only start the game with your downloaded (1.66c) Sacred.exe

Dosent work becouse I HAVE AN 1.66 CD sacred version, heh :(

Im having save game issues after the patch i can load up old saves but not of the saves i make will load, when i try to load a save i just made it will just crashe out.

humm make sure its 1.66c not just 1.66

found the 1.66c on gamecopyworld. the only problem is if you right click on it select properties and look for the version info on it u will see that it is in fact 1.5. and it does not work either. also the official 1.5 is really screwed up. makes alot of graphic errors. thats without the crack. its funny people are calling it 1.66c though

I have bought a czech version of this game and it DOES have a starforce protection. It's a (I think) 1.66 version (sacred.exe has version 1.6.1.126). I've tried a lot of cracks, but none worked :-(. All my attempts to make a working image with alcohol 120% also failed. :-( Can anybody help me with this?
