Backing Up War Gods -- Need Antimod Patch

Hey guys,

i got War Gods Pal and my psx won't play it.

It stops at the Eurocom screen?

I thought about backing it up.....but how can i do this?

There are several audio tracks on it!

Ive never had a problem with multiple Audio tracked ps1 games. I just burn as normal.

it hangs at the very same time - the Eurocom screen.

Maybe i can dummy this position? to avoid this

Sounds like the original you have is damaged. Usually if its mod protected you will get a red circle with a slash through the middle or it will say it detected a chip.

What do you mean by repacking?

I would like to extract all files from the original disc.

Then build a new disc with all the cdda tracks and game files...but i do not know how to make this.

Warlord: i dont think that the disc is damaged..cause it plays fine in my dreamcast....using bleem

TylerDurden 07-04-2004 05:31

Why would you want to rebuild it? I just dont understand, your intentions. Just back it up with CloneCD, CDRWin, Alcohol 120%, or just about any burning program.

the problem is that the original disc wont run in my psx!..thats why i want to buidl a new disc

Have you thought maybe that your psx laser may be worn? I mean it is a psx and they can be hella old. Have you tried a laser cleaner and such?

well basicly any other disc runs fine on that machine...

TylerDurden 08-04-2004 13:53

Do you have a modchip in that machine? If so then try making a backup like I stated.

yeah man i do have a mod chip in within the machine...and i trie dto run a backup :-) ...same problem. Seems it hangs at the eurocom screen....

the original disc runs fine in my dreamcast....

i looked for some movie files..but i couldnt find anyones on the disc.

maybe its hidden in a cdda track?

Warlock 10-04-2004 04:50

did you get any read errors when making the backup? If its a original PAL game and a PAL console it should load unless its damaged or modchip protected. Just because it plays on a Dreamcast using bleem doesnt mean it will load on a PSX. It could be that Bleem by-passes a few data files during loading that the PSX dont.

Soldiaz 10-04-2004 11:25

ok i just read in the original disc once using my plextor and then my dvd rom..at 50% i canceled the operation cause the error appears at the beginning.

both did not report any read errors during the backup process dam i am going crazy....
