DMS3 v.2 vs Messiah 2 v1.133 vs Magic V

First of all, I'm a real noob for PS2.

These 3 chips seem to be the latest version in the market

Magic V seem to be the cheapest out of all 3 while DMS3 is the most expensive but i'm willing to pay more if it really better

Are there any reason I should/should not pick one over ther other?

According to http://www.modchip.ca Magic V is as good as the other 2. Is this true?

Any of them easier to install than the other?
What is the everage time of installing one?

After install the Modchip, all I need is a good CD writer/copy program to play be able to play from from a back up CD/DVD right?

I'm in Orlando, FL. Any link to good modchip seller wiht good price/service. would help a lot.

don't get Messiah 2 it kills your ps2

Magic V and Messiah 2 Pro
 

Magic V and Messiah 2 Pro are both very good chips, and the DMS3 is the best but only because its flash upgradable and it allows playback of multi-region dvd's. Magic V is the cheapest and is a great chip, I have had no trouble with it. The only reason that a Messiah 2 or any other chip would mess up your PS2 is because it would be a bad install. If you dont know how to solder electronics then I highly recommend that you seek some profession installation service. Modchip Man has a great deal on installation service.

Is there any different between each version of PS2? v7, v8, v9 ect.

Only minor things such as reduced heat and better internal design. And also, the V9 has a quieter motor, progressive scan dvd player support, and dvd +/-r playback support, plus a built in network adapter and dvd remote.

then u appoligise want to sort out problem

point them to the ps2newz thread let them read facts
ie happening with all chips on certain v9
very limited
most who know anything suspect bad batch of ps2 mobo
lol how many dead mobo can u find with m2,1000plus worrking for every one were mobo dies

So let`s get this right...you was going to give me money to go buy a PS2 from where I got mine, but you made the assumption that they all came from the same place..tut, tut, tut.....now, for the viewers, he does not know me and hes going to give me money...realistic..I say not....then what does he want me to do with this PS2?...send it to someone I dont know from adam, to do tests, that are irrelavent, as to do with media, so, does really anyone out there believe this?..no....this is done to make it look like this is a good sales team. I may have all this wrong, but I dont think so....this is too good to be true....I dont think anybody would give money to someone they do not know..and where does this money come from? the sales of bad chips? so he has got nuff money from the sales of these chips to throw it around to people he does not know...Im not nieve...nor am I stupid...nor are the people who will read this post....if it looks like tish, smells like tish, then lo and behold it must be tish...............

if ps2 dies no chip its under warranty

if it dies under testing with m2 in, entity will fix it,he knows what hes doing, and then u got proof u need, by the way i now entity through the forums only never met him,strange another person i trust


as for paying for a ps2 and not knowing u,if u are a respected installer as u say,then u should be used to people trusting you
