Guichi Banned me from PS2Newz
 

Hi Guys

Thought you'd like to know that Guichi flipped over a thread that Sniperkilla started criticising Guichi's nasty behaviour especially with the F14 review. (In Off-Topic - but he's probably zapped the lot by now).

So I backed Sniperkilla up and Guichi started deleting my posts.

I put them in another thread and then he banned me.

So I think a lotta people will be outa there soon.

Oh well ....
EDIT 10 mins later: He unbanned me after representations. Still, where there's rot, there's leakage/seepage!

I have stated my opinions of Guichi in the past on ps2newz. Dumb f*ck if you ask me.

Dude, I thought Guichi was one of the good guys. I guess his obsession for Z and ps2ownz has f*cked up his brain.

Thanks BG. Well I don't like it. The forum should be greater than the guy with an axe to grind. He shouldn't be taking the axe and chopping the forum just because he can.

Thing is not to be intimidated by a hothead like him.

Its days are numbered if thins carry on like that over there.

It's a shame to see things getting like that.

When ps2newz first started out, I didn't personally become too involved in it. Yes, I joined up (didn't everybody :)), but I was hardly a frequent poster over there.

Saying that though, they did have a good bunch of friendly and regular forum members (and probably still do)

Hopefully it isn't the start of something similar to that of ps2ownz (is Z still running that?)

This is the only forum I read and you guys have taught me so much.

I would just like to say thx and keep it up you are a great bunch of peeps with no inflated egos which is a tough thing to find these days :)

Charlie's right...... All the BS has been going on over there for quite some time.... And if it continues, it will be done for also....

Guichi's title reads "retired"...... But all of the posting he's been doing lately is far from "retired"

Wow is all I can say about what has transpired over there... It seems that above all, once it gets big, it becomes all about money in one way or another... Or maybe it's ego...

Nothing on the mod-chip scene surprises me anymore - hence why I dont post so much nowadays! Burger wars & taxi wars have nothing on this bunch.

Jesus Christ - They are so pathetic over there! They are all fighting and squabbaling over nothing at all? I don't get it? Here we are all friends and any disagreements are settled usually very quickly. All for one and one for all. Over there, well :eek: . The face says it all - I personally feel it should be closed, nobody helps anybody, they just flame each other and are obsessed with the Ownz and Newz battle - is this what it's come down to - it really is a shame to see such a thing and makes me feel so priviledged to be a member of such a great forum as this one, and hopefully all other members feel that way too! :D

Lets say everything Guichi is saying about Charles is true. Can't say I really have a problem with it;

the man wants some money!!!!.

Look at all the people both Dust and Charles have helped and all for free.

So if a guy who is selling m2's says his chips are better than chip x,y or z and later we find out that chip x maybe as good or a little better than the m2- so what !!!!!

He didn't actually tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth , Guich would say.

Guich, you don't think people can figure it out???

Bottom line-if you listen and buy the chip Charles or Dust say is the best 99% of the people will be more than satisifed with that chip.

I personally never liked the forum at PS2newz, all I used it for was the news. Nobody was ever really helpful. You'd wait around for a week waiting for an answer to a problem and when you got one it was somebody else looking to solve the same problem. As for Guichi's feelings about Charlie. Where else can you get the best chip at a great price and get help when you F things up. Charlie's reviews of other chips have always been incredible fair. Bottom line is that he does not need to lie about the messiah chips they are the best hands down. As for the newz and ownz war. Lets say we come out of nowhere and sucker punch them both. Then fileforums rules all.;) :D

I have found a lot of guys over there very helpful.

It really was a good place to go but Guichi and some of those guys over there are on the pipe.

Well i am like AO3 and Hull as i dont post much anymore but anyway this is my opinion.first off let them pull the plug on newz, Its beyond repair, i never liked it or frequented its forums but from what ive read so far trouble has been brewing for some time. I have been here at fileforums longer than most, i've seen alot of people come and go as well as seen moderators here be demoted for things like guchie (or whatever his name is) is doing at newz.(As far as Charlie and Dust go let me say this : With the exception of hull_chipper and a few other installers and stockest, none of you know what hard work it is to supply and install modchips for the lot of us, The demand can get overwhelming and they should get paid for the excellent services they provide, From what i read money seemed to be a issue with guchie(or whatever) as well as saying they were biased about the messiah chips we all know to be the best. Oh well, banning Charlie and Dust is newz's loss. Charlie, Dust, you both have EARNED my respect as well as many others in the PS2 scene. Thanks for the hard work, some of us appreciate it!!As far as ps2newz goes, The more you stir **** the worse it stinks, let it die, I find it hard to believe they had info that couldn't be found here, As i have said all along, THIS is the best forum, LONG LIVE GAMECOPYWORLD!!

I've no idea why Guichi flipped; it may be that his precious DMS3 project hit some rocks (many a project, including Messiah have hit rocks). Guichi will deny it is his DMS3 project; but he sure punted the DMS3 hype which just didn't cut the mustard on release date.

He didn't like my review (the first review of DMS3 ever published) - the very review that informed the DMS3 team of what they had to do to get it working on the v8. The DMS3 team don't have any serious complaint against me so far as I can ascertin.

Anyway DMS3 is a very fine chip now and has huge market share. Great respect to them.

Meanwhile PS2Newz lurches on - perhaps simmering down now. The Homebrew section is excellent and would be missed if the site is taken down.

Sorry Warlock but I think the word LOSS is an understatement! Please try to keep your coments as factual as possible :D :D :D
