It's just a text file. Open it will any text viewer/editor will do.
Inside got some details on how to make sure the fixed exe/nocd crack working correctly... eg. Instruction on copying addition files from CD... etc.

For best result, use NFO Viewer.

thanks guys..i have tried to open these nfo files in the past with note pad/word ect but i allways get the same error message wich is something like"data is corrupt/can not open file" how ever i have just reformatted last night asd i was having probs with my pc so ill try again

eggmac 12-02-2003 15:46

then probably the file itself is corrupted and not working. So it hasn't to do with the .nfo format...

Also, remember that in some OS'ses like Windows XP, the .nfo extension is by standard associated to some XP system information program, so you'll have to change that association to notepad like I did....

I think coffin filler will already have this tool, because the thread you've grabbed out is more than TWO YEARS old !!!

MorgueMouse 28-08-2005 02:56

that reply was totally uncalled for. are u really hard up for something to do or what?

Monty Burns 28-08-2005 03:53

This thread is that old, that meanwhile coffin filler could have filled a coffin with himself. (I hope he didn't, though :D).

GLH 28-08-2005 04:04

His reply has taken 5 months !!! http://www.fileforums.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

ahhahaaha

Anyways dont listen to the n00bians people, if you want to read an .nfo correctly.

Just open it into notepad, and set the font to terminal, regular and 9.

Its that simple :P

Monty Burns 28-08-2005 15:25

Ah, at least DABhand is getting back to topic :D:D

Maybe "Speedy Gonzales" bumps this thread again in a year or two....:D, we will see.

@ThePrince
The post your are refering to is nearly 3 years old!!! I am sure Coffin Filler has learnt quite a lot since then! He would not have had the 380 posts when he first asked that question. ;)
