Well no wonder that's not going to work for you - rzr isn't a method present in arc.ini - it pays to actually check this before using the tool so you know what method are availble for you to use!

If you want razor, use method "rz" (or change it yourself in arc.ini to rzr).

previously, i added compressed fp8 file which wouldn't decompress if you had ryzen CPU

now that i have updated the links, check it again...download it and then try to open the DarckSideCompressor.exe

First of all a big thank you to everyone who worked on this very promising tool!

I just "tested" the initial version of PsYcHo_RaGE, and it works great!
It is important, as my friend Masquerade wrote above (his post here => https://fileforums.com/showpost.php?...61&postcount=4) to properly define your options in the "arc.ini " via the PsYcHo_RaGE app and everything will be fine!

Those guys who have been getting that blank screen when you would start the queue for compression, its actually compression method issue! if the compression method isn't added in "arc.ini" its obvious that the compression isn't going to start.

tbh, i always think its useless to protect archives but that can be achieved by something called FA Protect which you can find here in ff or krinkels.

Download LIS, or CUI and search it's folders for arc.ini, it must contain all the unpackcmds.

Hello, so upon using the compressor I found a bug.
First of all I inputed my game folder into "Input Data Folder" then on the "Output Filename" I put the name I wanted it to be. I tried using xtool+srep+lolz but upon putting it into the queue and executing it with the button a single empty cmd window appears for a split second and dissapears. I tried using other methods but still the same. Any idea why this is happening?

I would prefer if the cmd window stays open instead of disappearing after done compressing. and thanks for the tool!

I will take a look at it by creating a switch instead which will enable to keep the cmd window stay open after a successful or unsuccessful compression. And you're welcome :)

are you going to update a new version? with the new 2020 xtool.
I was able to add to your tool but my arc ini isn't as organized now.
I can't get the reflate and preflate option to work properly.

I'm only going to update the DarckSide Compressor GUI Tool but not the compression tools, you can update them yourself as it's not that hard.
