1. Install the game. Update game to latest version.

2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.

2A. MOVE _CommonRedist in Conversion Output folder.

Code:

[Launch1]
Name=DirectX
32Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe
Argument=/silent
BeforeInstall=1
Checked=0

[Launch2]
Name=Visual C++ 2010
32Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010\vcredist_x86.exe
64Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010\vcredist_x64.exe
Argument=/q /norestart
BeforeInstall=1
Checked=0

[Launch3]
Name=Visual C++ 2015
32Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2015\vc_redist.x86.exe
64Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2015\vc_redist.x64.exe
Argument=/q /norestart
BeforeInstall=1
Checked=0

3. Run UltraARC, Browse/Select Your game folder, then choose output location, & compression method.

4. Test the conversion, before burning ISO.

5. Then burn folder contents to DVD.

Fixed Just Cause 4 Compressor, now works properly with the 5xdvd option. It worked previously with the 6xdvd option. You no longer have to patch the setup, just run the batch file, & the compressed files will be in the output folder. You still need to have the _Commonredist folder in the first dvd in Output folder.

Added Setup for those with lower resolutions.

File removed to install issue on No high resolution package. Will post full package in first post when completed.

My Apologies

There was an error in input size for first DVD. Re-download archive for this conversion ( post #2).

Plz how fix this :(

pakrat2k2 12-12-2018 07:51

instead of just posting how fix this. Provide more information:
if you used ultraarc or diskspan
what compression you used
operating system
how much freespace on HD

with that information you provide better information, as well as the screenshot.

----------------------------------------------------------
sorry but I did not understand well :confused::confused:

Instructions:

Some steps:
1. Download Setup.exe from post #1 and copy next to DiskSpan.bat in this attached archive.
2. Run "Setup_Patch.bat". When it's finished move Setup.exe to "Setup" folder
3. Run DiskSpan.bat, follow steps
4. Wait for finish

pakrat2k2 12-12-2018 15:28

download the file from post #2.
Copy the setup.exe from archive in post #1, put just that file ( setup.exe) with archive from post #2.
run Setup_Patch.bat once thats done, then move the Setup.exe into the Setup folder.
Run Diskspan.bat wait for conversion to complete. :D

Used diskspan from post #2 following all the instructions about copying, patching & moving and got this error... Any ideas???

KaktoR 18-12-2018 06:15

I don't know. I never get errors like this

Turning off AV and stuff like that during compression and installing?

zirkhaki 18-12-2018 12:43

I've got this error on one of my installers.
I used xtool v2 for compressing the game and used another version of it to make the installer.
Then i got that error.

Maybe this is the problem here.

KaktoR 18-12-2018 12:55

This conversion does not use xtool at all

i meant the programs used for the conversion.
it can be lolz, zlib or xtool.
and still if this game does not support xtool, somebody may do a mistake and use it and while installing, s/he might get that error.

it could be something else. as you know I'm not a pro like you :o

Thanks , how can i remove Non-English languages from game folder structure ?

Oh sorry for noob question , script does the language job !

pakrat2k2 19-12-2018 07:18

The compressor that was in post #2 at the moment only seems to work on full installs only. So ive removed it until issue is fixed.

KaktoR 19-12-2018 09:46

I've deleted my post. It's better to share it on your own then because people could get confused otherwise :)

pakrat2k2 19-12-2018 16:41

Fixed compressor is now in the first post. Unfortunately if you selected the 5xdvd option you will have to recompress your game files, unless you still have the game folder still on your HD. If so, then simply from the _Backup folder, move the archives_win64 folder back into the root of the game. Then you can recompress the game without having to reinstall it. You will NOT be able to simply change the setup.exe, the game has to be in the same state as it was when first installed, for the compressor to work properly with the 5xdvd option.

Added Setup for those with lower resolutions.

What Compression Method did you use for this?

Is it normal to takes too long for installation/decompression ? something about 3 hours took for me !

@pakrat2k2
How long should i wait for proper installation ?

pakrat2k2 04-02-2019 06:25

all i can remember is there is a ton of files, so it may take a very long time to see any progress, especially if you use ultraarc.
