^
Seems to be just kraken streams, Use the Unreal plugin in xtool..
Should look like this:
xtool.exe precomp -mue5:k0x7A29E66C3CB184042A44F5E35EC023504940867C38 2D2E8E1185E0F146D25B45+kraken -c64mb -t100p -d1
Code:

Compressing pakchunk9-Windows.pak
Compressed 1 file, 1,587,512,507 => 4,549,507,714 bytes. Ratio 286.58%
Compression time: cpu 2.83 sec/real 686.82 sec = 0%. Speed 2.31 mB/s
All OK

^ I haven't touched diskspan for a while, but this should be the method ig:
Code:

It didn't work; I don't know why.

Could you use your own compression tool and share it with me for restoration?

KaktoR 10-09-2026 07:06

Use ue4 instead.

Code:

xtool:d1:mue4,k0x7A29E66C3CB184042A44F5E35EC023504940867C382D2E8E1185E0F146D25B45:mkraken:core_2.9.10:lib_2
If this does not work either send sample like this
Carma\Content\Paks\pakchunk16-Windows.pak

By KaktoR**, thank you for your help. My goal is to compress certain games whenever I feel like it, but sometimes I’m not sure how to do it or where to start.

Do you think this is the best option? Is it sufficient for ultra-compression, or is there a better alternative?

Hello KaktoR. I compressed *Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain* using the DSG Module 2.0.2.4 version; however, the installation fails when I use the setup wizard created by mausschieber. The game files get corrupted because they do not revert to their original state during the restoration process following the compression of the game files and audio assets.

After restoring the compressed files for *Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain*, the original files are not being restored. I have prepared a detailed video regarding the issue I encountered; the video is a bit long since I recorded the entire process, but I hope it helps explain the problem.

I would like to show you the video I recorded.
