So in order to get Beyond Divinity working without using your original cds, you load the mds images Vivac posted and you still got to unplug all normal cd drives? And when it asks about the key, you insert the original?
And anyways, if there are ppl not willing to pay alot for a game, just wait few months/years...price will drop eventually hehe

how can I re-enter the key

I entered a wrong key and got another one now, but it's impossible to re-enter a key once you've changed it, even if you reinstall the game ?! :confused: . What do I have to do to make this stingy game forget that I've already entered it. I should have the possibility anyway if I made a mistake while entering a key... so plz help.

second question: is it enough just to delete the drive devices from the hardware manager instead of unplugging ? Can't get this thing work, but thx afterall

Try to use sfclean.exe tools, it remove this **** of starforce 3 on Your PC.

okay when i go to unplug my drives....what exactly do i unplug? the wide thing that looks like a fruit roll-up or the little bunch of wires with a white end, both are like firmly secured, do i try and yank em out, or is there a screw or something in there?

some manufacturers stick them with silicon so they dont come out. the never have screws so just pull lol

For people having problems with the starforce copy protection:
If you have trouble running the game because of the copy protection, just send a mail to larian studios they'll send you a serial number which bypasses the protection. You need to own the game though ;)...

isn't there another way to play db without unplug? i tried uninstall cd-rom drive in device manager, but i can't play.. isn't it enough? :(

I have the 2 cd of Beyond Divinity in 2 files ISO.
I extract from here the the *.mdf and the *.mds files for this game.

What i do now. And please tell me if i work whit this files on computer or if i must save them to CD.

After I tried installing beyond divinity, I put in the wrong cd code. So I downloaded sfclean.exe to remove the info. That worked successfully and I rebooted the computer, attempting to run beyond divinity. It says that the installation was successful and prompted me to restart the computer. After I restarted the computer (mind you this is all with the cd emulation on) I tried running beyond divinity...and there was a no cd error. Any help?

vivac... any chance of you extrapolating a bit on what you did there?

the d3.46 stuff and mounting is a bit over my head... :(

My experience: two kind of copy are exist on the net, an iso version, and a mdf. The iso version DOES NOT include the mini image folder, is has a different size also, and DO NOT work with the described method. The mdf,mds version contain the mini image, and WORKS with the mounted mini image, and the UNPLUGGED, not disabled CD, DVD drives. All who own the iso image, forget it, try to get the mdf one where the two cd image ALSO in mdf format

there's no need to phisically unplug the cd/dvd.
