firmware version?
well i haven't searched about it a lot but i would like to know what version of firmware my burner has.it is a ricoh mp7163a.i serached on its settings and found that it's sub... versions is br07,is this it's firmware version or i should search somewhere else and where?

to see firmware version on win9x:
device-manager -> cd-rom -> double-click on your ricoh -> click on "settings" -> see firmware version and be happy  win2k, winxp : sorry, dont know

Did you try: start/settings/control panel/system/device manager/CDROM/ricoh mp7163a/settings ??? there you should see the firmware......well at least I can see mine for my writer.

If u want to see the revision of ur cd-r just see it on cloneCD dialog when u 're going to burn...It tells u a lot and the revision or firmware is included!

hey dudes thanx for the help!so that means that i was right,the br07 that was on the setings for my burner was my firmware version!
