problem copying music disks

I've just updated my Clone cd to ver4 , i can copy data disks fine, if a little slower than normal, my problem is that when i back up my rather old pink floyd cd's they seem to copy ok, they work fine on the PC but when i try to play them on the stereo they suddenly stop playing at certain places now i did not have this problem on the old ver of Clone CD so my question is what am i doing wrong, i've looked in Clone CD settings and there is only one setting for music CD's

I think the key word there is "old". The original cd may be badly scratched and be dirty.

The PC may be able to read it as the drive may be good at reading the cd, whereas your (possible ageing) cd player may have a dirty, old laser that may find it difficult to read the disk.

the disks are in very good condition as is the player it seams to be somthing in clone cd as i've used the old version to back up all my other old cd's, I now that i can go back to the old version,it just seems strange that's all, i was wondering if any one else as had this problem .
