problem??

hi i just installed a Ripper 2 GOLD (PAL V3-V10) in a silver ps2 v9 and the chip will only boot ps1 backups and by disableing the chip Original ps2 disks and dvd movies but not ps2 backups i have checked all my points and all the wires and have the solder bridges on the chip done still nothing any ideas???????

Re-check your points - if PS1 backups work then generally the chip is 100% ok - you only need the power and ground and SCEX and reset points to be correct for the PS1 games

- for PS2 games you need all of them except the scex to be correct. Double check boot method first - then check points.

Makes ure your wires are as short as possible and kept flat against the mainboard.

power and ground should be thicker wires.
