How to make it?

in c2.cab and c3.cab there is the language files "DistWin32Streaming_vo_**_00_fbrb". (de-en-es-fr-it-pl-ru)
If replace all language with blank file except 1 lang, the game size is only 4gb. (6 lang file is 1,78gb)
Is possible create a conversion dvd9-1dvd5?

Yes unpack c2 & c3 whit winace
replace other languages with dummy files
and repack with winace maximum compress (select cab format)
Only italian 3,75 GB

Install sequence: DVD1-DVD2-DVD1

1) Make temp folders:

BFBC2_1
BFBC2_2

2) Copy DVD9 contents to 'BFBC2_1' folder

3) Move all cabs files from 'BFBC2_1' to 'BFBC2_2' except:

c1.cab
c2.cab

4) Copy 'Support' folder & 'Autorun.ico' file from 'BFBC2_1' to 'BFBC2_2 (rename 'Autorun.ico' to 'BFBC2.ico')

5) Create autorun.inf in 'BFBC2_2' folder:

open=0
icon=BFBC2.ico

6) Extract 'BFBC2_2xDVD5.7z' contents to 'BFBC2_1' folder

7) Launch patch.bat

8) Burn or make isos with same label names of temp folders

1) Make 'temp' folder

2) Copy DVD9 contents to 'temp' folder

3) Extract 'BFBC2_1xDVD5.7z' contents to 'temp' folder

4) Launch re-compress.bat, select your language & wait...

5) Edit 'localization.ini' in 'support' folder under [LOCALES] label,
put a space character to front every row of others languages entries

6) Burn or make iso with label name of your choice

1. Create folders 'DISK1' and 'DISK2' (that's will be label names) and copy content of DVD9 to folder 'DISK1'

2. From 'DISK1' move to 'DISK2' files: c2.cab, c3.cab

3. From 'DISK1' copy to 'DISK2' folders: Dist, Support and files: Autorun.inf, Autorun.ico

4. In 'DISK2' open Autorun.inf with Notepad and edit to look like this:

5. Download, extract and replace edited 'Autorun.dat': 'BFBC2_2xDVD5.rar' to 'DISK1' folder

6. Burn or make iso's with label name DISK1 and DISK2

DVD1 2.93 GB

Install sequence: DVD1 - DVD2 - DVD1

mis2, for PL/ENG (or any other double language conversions) use Peterf1999 conversion for 1xdvd5 , in any case it should fit on 1xdvd5 (PL/ENG - 4,07GB)

everyone that has issues with following peter's conversions. EASIEST thing to do, change your environment setting ( where the temp folder is to another drive )

goto control panel --> system settings --> advanced tab --> environment variables at bottom. CHANGE the ones at the top for current user profile & under system variables at the bottom. CHANGE the TEMP / TMP folders to another drive. ( the TEMP folder has to exist before changing it first. ) I use another HD that has 2-300GB freespace on it. Rather then using my OS system drive, make it so much easier to delete everything in that 1 folder then having to scroll down thru windows folders. NEVER run into problems with running out of space ever again, because temp folder isnt on system drive.

Did you Burn with IMGBurn? then i think you have to choose alle Files with the File select and every folder in the BFBC2 folder extra, cause otherwise it doesn't burn it. Had the same problem that it didn't burn the folders.

step unrar c2.cab and c3.cab
step Inside of folders c2 and c3 will be languages replace useless languages with dummy files (example: DistWin32Streaming_vo_en_00_fbrb :: it's english sow you can see vo_en is following languages you can replace them with dummy files )
step make rar archive
step convert .rar to .cab
move to dvd new .cab files and burn dvd have fun and enjoy !!
