after the repack the setup won't show the license agreement (it's all white). Is this normal or an error in the repack process?
Delete only 'redist' folder in 'temp\support', keep 'Autorun' & 'Documents' folders
install error?
Thats what I was talking about. Just make two copies os the file "0x0409.ini" and rename one "0x0407.ini" and the other one "0x0410.ini" then the installation should run fine.
The setup.ini under [Languages] label:
Default=0x0409
Supported=0x0409
( MUST HAVE ONLY, nothing else )
If you did english only setup.
I'm prety sure I've done everything right. The setup file under [Languages] label is exactly like that (otherwise the setup doesn't even start the installation, it gives another type of error) and still the missing 0x0407.ini file pops up during the install.
The only way I found to correct the problem was the one I've posted above.

same here
To fix the issue keep all response languages ini files on the DVD's root ;):
0x0409.ini
0x0407.ini
0x0410.ini
During the repacking the batch has deleted them

Since Bioshock 2 wizard setup is rather monotone, I'm uploading some alternative skins for Bioshock 2 wizard setup with a custom Bioshock theme. Just rename the original setup.isn to something else end try one of these instead and see if you like em.
After repacking files with repack.bat, it left the data3.cab file 2.7GB ! Data2.cab is 4GB. What the hell ?
My dvd region version has English, French, Spanish.
my guess is since you do not have the same game, nothing gets deleted,
it's supposed to erase either english italian or german language related files,
your game is english french spanish
Bioshock 2 (DVD9 to 1xDVD5) Multi 3 (English,Italian,German) 1 language+Single Player only
Works like a charm!
I put Patch 1.001 and SinglePlayer c...k folder, installed game,patched and ran without any problem.
Great job

[Languages]
Default=0x040a
Supported=0x040a
0x040c=French

I wish the ending credits were included, or at least have the option to save them to another location and replace the file if you like. Luckily we have youtube to watch them:

Thanks!
Re-encode it at half resolution (640x360) and with a bitrate at 350000 and then repacking cabs (overwrite fake bik located in archive)
