I have an HP 9100 CD BURNER...i have burned about 30 games with this burner , 80 minute 700 meg cd's and DJ 3. Last night i downloaded 2 images off of the net. They were Soul Calibur and Omikron..both are over 770 megs large and around 79 minutes long. Yet when i try and burn them using DJ , i get an image is larger then target media error. So i then set overburning in the tools/options area and i still get that message. Then i set overburn in the advanced area in the cdimage to cdrecorder section and then when i click start , i get the same message but it asks me if i want to burn it anyway..and then it lets me when i click yes...the file gets to about 97% and then the cdrom door opens and there is an error that pretty much states that there is an illegal parameter in the field and it is officially a coaster. Here are my questions...
1} why is this file considered too large when i do in fact have a 80 minute cd in the drive and the file is only 79 minutes.
2} has anyone burned these 2 games?
3} Please tell me the exact settings that should be ticked in the advanced section..is it a mode1 or 2 file? What should the block be set to? What should toc be set to? What should be checked off in the misc section? I know that cdi files come set on there own and are ready to burn but when you check off that overburn in the advanced section the program does in fact use the rest of those settings to burn the game. Does my burner need to be capable of overburning and does anyone else have the same burner here? TIA
