I've managed to burn tons of games with no problems, but this one has me stumped. I downloaded a copy of soul caliber off a hotline server, it came in 23 files (21 files at 20 mb each, 1 file at 9.4mb, and 1 rar file of 20mb)named cnn-sc.??. I unrared it successfully by double clicking on the rar file everything goes smooth. I end up with a cnn-sc.cdi file of 777mb.
I loaded the file in diskjuggler no problem used the settings: mode 1, block 2368, toc cd-rom, test, write, verify, X1speed. It burned no problems, i put it in my dreamcast and i thought it was going to blow up it. It never made it past the sega logo, you could hear the laser just working overtime, it was real loud. but it never booted. It went to the music screen after about 2 minutes of the laser going nuts. then i tried it with the boot disk and no go again. same thing.
I tried using CDIRIP and came up with an iso file, a cue file and a TAudio01.wav file. I used cdrwin to load the cue file but it only burned the iso file and when i put it in the dreamcast it wouldn't work with a boot disk or without. I don't know what else to do. this is the only game that i've had problems with??????? Help please

You may have a bad download copy man. Most files I get are 19mbs and the last one is a little less. I haven't found Soul Calibur yet so I don't know exactly how many files goes with it but check www.isonews.com look the game up and see exactly how many files it should be and the size.

Good Luck

I have the right amount of files. the media i'm using is Memorex 700mb 80min cdr. I've managed to burn tons of other games with these cdrs with no problems. I also just found out that there is a LBA patch out for soul caliber. Any idea what that is for??

bud, burn that wav file in cdr-win (first icon, hit load tracks) and turn on open new session. then once its done, burn the cue sheet over that. it has to recognize the disc as audio b4 the milcd player will load the boot file and start your game.
