.CDI - .BIN ???

Is this a possible conversion? I have PSO.cdi and would like to use a patch applier to patch pso but the format for the patcher must be .bin. So i need to convert .cdi to .bin. Is there a program for that?

why yesthere is on this very site...but would it work to convert it... patch it, and convert it back? i assume so
