Do a search on "PAL, NTSC scart convertor"

ok ive done some research on "PAL, NTSC scart convertor" and the best ive found is $249 , is there someone that can chip an american ps2 which will play both pal and american games cheaper than $249, if so let me know, and people who have used them before let me know how good they are .

thanks

Yeah this forum section really has gone to hell. Its really a damn shame.

Anyway, you can take that old messiah out and drop a Matrix Infinity in its place. With the MI you can force your PS2 to output NTSC. No need for any external hardware.

I had no idea a converter cost that much as i never used one, You can get a new pre-modded console for less, anyway send the console to Spedmetal, He's one of the best installers in the US if not the best ;)

His website is www.norcalmods.com.
