View Full Version : How to burn after I've used Dreamrip
So finalley I've got all the stuff - A PC - DC serial cable, dreamrip, Terra Terminal and everything else. But what do I have to do after I've copied the DC files to my PC? How can I burn them in a way I can use with my DC?

I found the Instructions within the GD Ripping Toolbox, Get this from the following links

I have emailed them to you as well just in case they aren't in there....

win, where did you find instructions in there? was sorta wondering the same thing. ive successfully ripped pre-ripped games (like mr.driller, just to test it) and ended up w/ an audio and data file which were successfully burned with the dc-cdr program and came out self booting and fully functional. that program they give you to burn doesn't do much unless you already have an iso made, so it doesn't help our situation. ripping proskater2, i ended up with a shitload of tracks (cdda) and there were more than one iso file. i dunno what to do about this. ill try iso busting all of them into a folder and making 1 big iso, then burning the audio tracks followed by the data, in traditional cdda form. I just don't wanna waste like 10 cd-rs figuring this out. the ripping toolkit is nothing more than the dreamrip program, terra terminal, and a ghetto iso burning program in a large click and play installer file. the guy has absolutely no instructions on how to do anything (although the dreamrip instructions were very nice and straightforward). glad to see im not the only one with this problem (not that your games arent working, just glad to know that my hardware/software isnt messed up)

hi
when transferring the file does the dcrip.ttl file get bigger then does your computer create the file trackxx.xxx.gz
when i was extracting i did search for *.iso.gz and it came up with nothing
do these files only appear once the rip has finished?

they are in the program files\teraterm directory. you need an un gziper (winrar works) then you run the extract program with both data tracks and the sector offset thingy (if there are 2 data tracks, that is). you don't need the little raw file if its a normal game and your gonna use the dreamcast cd burner prog. if its cdda, you'll need to raw2wav them. Anyone have any good ways to keep your dreamcast cool while ripping? ive just been turning mine upside down (vents are on bottom, heat rises) and it hasn't gotten too bad but i really don't wanna jack it up

yeah, ive seen those too but don't they plug into the port on the back (the one we use for ripping) or does it go into the power supply one?
