Hi,

I'm searching this for many months.
I want directly to connect my PlayStation 2 to my TFT-Monitor (If it isn't an English word, then: Display :D ).

When I had a GeForce FX 5600 I could connect it via Video-IN.
But now I don't want to run my PC.
I can't because I haven't Video-IN.

So only console to display.

Does anyone own something like this?
I would pay around the 60 €.
(I don't want that you sell yours, I only want information about this adapters!)
I have looked in eBay (German!).
click (http://search.ebay.de/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.de%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=VGA+Box&category0=).

I prefer my TFT-Display because it looks better like on my TV.
And the TV is also in another room :p

Thanks for help!

It may be a bit off-topic but there's a project (been around for several years but no, not vaporware, just lack of time and funding :() for similar purposes but optimized for Commodores: C=VGA (http://www.commodorescene.servebbs.org/vga.html). Just connect the adaptor, via a plain VGA cable, to a VGA monitor and there you go with the picture converted from RF or S-Video to VGA.

I have been using this for years:
vDigi (http://www.vdigi.com/index.php?page=shop.flypage&product_id=17&category_id=759df22fdaeabe0bcd58c745d6286257&option=com_phpshop)

However, it is more or less used to convert HD (and 480p) signals to vga. You need a component cable, not composite.

I bought this for games that supported 720p on the xbox, and it works great for my 360 as well.

However, that is US power based. The products on ebay are probably just as good.

@Joe Forster/STA: OK I will check this, thanks! :)

@Quall999: And this does mean I couldn't use normal PS2 games (PAL or NTSC-based) with your vga box?! Some games do support the Progressive Scan, others do not. Most of my games don't support any Progressive Scan mode.

@Quall999: I think you could use this (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360vgahdcable/), too.
But it only works for the XBox 360.

Yah, I saw that, but vga and component are pretty much the same signals. I use a projector that has a native resolution of 800x600. The vga cable does not support that res, so I will not gain anything by using the vga cable :(
