I want to try to copy my own dreamcast cd through my computer burner. Do I need to do anything to my burner or computer or any special cables to hook up the dreamcast? or is there a program so the cd rom can read it? If so what are they called?

Just look at the main page at dccopyworld.com. Check out the information on the dc serial cable adapter. This has the plans to create a cable to connect your computer to your dreamcast. However, the information provided in there is not for a newbie, as it does require some soldering and luck.
