Can it be true?

Ahhhh, your original post made no mention of what media the game came on, so I assumed CD. Alcohol presently cannot backup copy protected DVD's. That will be included in the next version.

You can presently create images of SafeDisc games, but not SecuRom so unfortunately you'll have to be extra careful with the original until then.

Will it fix, SafeDisc 4 blacklist?!
SecuROM7?
Or even Starforce 3?

The protection has gone wild, and alcohol used to be one step ahead. But now they are many steps behind...WHEN WHEN are they gonna update.. :D

Same for Deamon Tools, are kind of behind. But still are the best free alternativ instead of expensive Alcohol! :eek:

well maybe about the blacklists and backup of dvd's but starforce...maybe the newer versions.if they achieve to backup starforce3 you know what's gonna happen :D

Think Im gonna start a club, right know it's named "I hate SafeDisc 4, Securom 7 and Starforce" soo it will be named "I hate Starforce" :D

As for the virtual drive part its: Daemon = Alcohol ;)

I've test it and it didn't supprise me at all :(.
SafeDisc 4 blacklist is now solved. Games like Football Manager 2005 can now be runned from the mini image. Before only deamon tools could.

However, still problems with SecuROM 7 blacklist. And SecuROM 7 is a "clone" of StarForce 3 so I bet StarForce 3 blacklist isn't solved eather!

They change the GUI a bit and the enter the serial boix is now wierd.. :P.

So if you have to buy to upgrade from the older version, I realy don't recomend it, dosen't add mutch new. Realy wonder what they (alcohol creaters) have been doing for the last half year.

Yeah, just did some tests and I have to agree. At least, they did something :D
I had already started to think that they were just doing nothing ......
