You can use WinHIIP to transfer from PC to PS2 HDD

You can also use the program Hdl dumb to transfer games...I've used both, lucfan is right, WINHIIP is a little better though. If you are going to transfer games from your PC to your HD, I would invest in an external HD enclosure, it's much faster than opening up your PC case each time. The DVD diode in my ps2 is shot so I have to transfer all my games this way. Hope that helps.

Or IDE to USB controller which would be cheaper and easier

Why not just put your game back in and reload it to the other Hard Drive?

No, you can't, except for an emulator. But don't expect proper PS2 emulators for a PC within about 5 years. (Not because emulator programmers are stupid but because PC hardware is still not strong enough...)

Well, I'm happy to be wrong. Could you tell us more about how good the currently available PS2 emulators, e.g. neutrinoSX2 and PCSX2, are? (I didn't have time to check them out for the last few years.) Thanks!

I agree with Joe. I dont know of any 100% working PS2 emulator. I dont see it happening anytime soon.
