I had a similar problem when I tried connecting my notebook to my xbox. I couldnt log in with FlashFXP. And I know I was doing everything right! So I installed Craxtion and tested to see if it could log on. I used all the same info and it worked.

Now I said maybe Ill used the older version of FlashFXP I have on my PC and uninstall the newer version from the Notebook. Finally the older version of FlashFXP worked.

The version that worked for me was 2.1
Try that.

i can also confirm that new versions of flashfxp have big problems connecting to the xbox
it took me a few hours on irc helping someone to actually work out what was going on
i sent him the really old version i use and it connected first time
not sure what was wrong but couldnt figure it out for love nor money

That is probably the problem. My PC recently crashed and I lost all of my programs. The version I have now is 3.0.

Only to make a little note:
I use FlashFXP 3.0 and I have no problems at all with FTP'ing to my xbox.
I can't understand why it doesn't works for you.

I have "Version: 3.0 (build 1015)".
And no problems at all with my 1.0 xbox w/ Aladdin Advance EvoXM7+ bios and EvoX 3935.

Its more than likely just certain builds that are problematic.
