Trouble with Mech Assault 2

Hi,
I have a modded XBOX with an X2 chip in it and a 80gig hd. I have had it a while now and everything seems to work fine. However, I copied mech assault 2 to the hard drive and when i tried to play the game, it just stalls at the xbox hud loading screen. I have never had this problem with any other game i've had. Does anyone have any ideas?

delete the files in x, y, z, cache (in E), disable the evox IGR if you are using evox and make sure the time is set correctly. Then delete the "default.xbe" and rename "ma2.xbe" to "default.xbe".

If those do not help, then files are either corrupt or the disk is damaged.
