streaming vids

i think i tried this before
but got lazy, so i stopped
but for people that do do it,
is it hard ot set up?
does it do anythin bad like lag, or take up cpu usage?
i needa tutorial and liek a good program to use

Do you mean like streaming vids from your PC to the xbox?

For me it was really easy. They made the XBMC compatible (well, auto connect) with the MSHome network. So, all you have to do is share your vid folder on your pc. Then just select the MSHome item in available networks, in xbmc. It is no harder than sharing a folder with another PC.
