thx for the reply, :D
I know computer fairs are a lot cheaper but i thought it is easier to buy from a reputable company.
All i want the pc for is so i can play the latest games with ease ?
I have been told thou that a AMD 64 is better than a p4 of equivalent spec is this true ? for less money
i have a AMD 2.0 ghz pc downstairs which i want to upgrade and a Intel Celeron 2.8 ghz upstairs with 512 ddr in both.
The celeron plays half life 2 and counter strike source no problem but takes ages to load up.

ok well what you need to upgrade is say... for example to 1gig ram and an up to date 256mb graphs card. dont go below the geforce fx5900 if you want a decent gaming life-spam ;)
