Temco takes legal action against xbox hacking forum

Temco have announced that they are taking legal action against an internet forum which discussed hacking of some of their major games such as Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive 3, Dead or Alive, Xtreme Beach Volleyball and Dead or Alive Ultimate(TM).

LOL that's a good one Joyboy. I think it's actually pretty funny that Tecmo is complaining that somebody just had to correct a few galring flaws in one of their games.

I am surprised that they are JUST starting to take action. They knew about these hacks for years.

Most other companies don't have issues with users who modify their games for their personal enjoyment e.g Bungie with Halo/Halo2

Skins have been created for characters from Street Fighter, The King of Fighters, Darkstalkers/Vampire, Resident Evil/BioHazard, Doom 3, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Naruto.

I do feel for cypher, and hope that with the right legal representation he can get all charges dropped.

One of the points made by Tecmo was about defamation of character, implying that the sceners at NinjaHacker somehow give a bad name to and degrade the characters.

On a seperate note, check out the back of the game box for Tecmo game "Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball", the word NUDITY appears on the box, and the opening scene leaves little to the imagination.
