I tried DVD Shink, Clone DVD2, DVD X-copy platnium, I Copy DVDS 2, and Intervideos DVD copy 2 & 3 platnium but nothing works. A couple of those progarms state that there are incripted files on the disc. Is there a way I can backup this DVD movie?

Get the latest ANYDVD and youll be set. Plus if you would have searched the name of the movie you couldnt back up you would have found the answer that way too.

I just downloaded the newest AnyDVD and it doesn't help. Is there a certain setting and what progarm should I be using to make the backup. I tried a search and got zilch.

It should help, the problem your having is AARCOS. What version do you have? Make sure you get it from their site www.slysoft.com if anything I think you can get a 30 day trial from them.

Did you make sure Anydvd was installed and running on your pc? If it was did you then insert your dvd and give it time to recognize the disc (usually the little fox in the taskbar does a light fade then goes back to normal)?

I pushed the defualt setting button on AnyDVD and everything worked like a charm, somehow a needed setting must have gotten unchecked on the first attempt. Thanks for the help! I think I'll be buying AnyDVD and Clone DVD2 in the near future, it seems to work smoothly compared to DVD shrink and all my other lame programs.

One more question is Clone CD worth an extra $20 for the the complete package or is the AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 package the way to go? What eactly can you do with Clone CD?

Well Ive enjoyed anydvd and clonedvd2 for quite some time now. Thing is I rarely use clonecd for anything. I have other burning programs that do the job.

In other words, its really up to you.
