Hello. I am having a problem loading my original Racthet and Clank Up Your Arsenal from the Crystal Chip BM. It is a brand new game, no stratches and it will not load through the BM. I have to take the memory card out of the PS2 so that the BM does not come up and it loads just fine then. Any ideas?????

Maybe it's a corrupt sector on the card. Try backing all your saves up to another card if you have one, formatting the card with QA Tool and then reinstalling BM.

If you aren't using the latest version of Boot Manager, upgrade to the newest version.

Funny you mention corrupted sector. On the memory card there is a save file that says "Corrupted Data File". I guess this is the BM because it was not there before installing the BM. Also, do you have the version number of the most up to date BM? Thanks!

Actually, I don't think you do have the most recent BM file. This is because the newest one apparantly (I haven't tested this) doesn't show as corrupt data. Updating will probably fix things for you. The most recent BM (Hacked) is v0.0.9

I'm sure a quick search on Google will find you what you're after, as the page on Gamefreax.de appears to be down.

EDIT: I just e-mailed Game Freax. I'll let you know what's happening with the update when I get a response.

To revisit this scenario, I have bought a new memory card. I then formatted the old card and verified that it had no data on it. I then upgraded to the Crystal Chip v0.0.9 bios (hacked). I reflashed the chip and installed the BM. My PS2 still cannot load some of my original titles from the BM...like Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal and Jak 3. I have to pull the memory card out and let the PS2, load up the game without the BM, then stick the memory card back in to read my save file.

Is there any way I can get these originals to load from the Crystal Chip BM???
